I agree, manualconvert is much more realistic.

Manual convert is too hard to use :whine: it takes just as long (almost) and is only good for rail to el-rail not el-rail to mono.

No: you don't have to demolish it first and you can just build over bridges, tunnels and stations.

It depends on how long we are playing for: if we play up to 2010 there are hardly any monorails and the electric trains from the tempset are faster so it's no use upgrading. However, if we play much longer then if could either be a challenge or a nuisance to upgrade tracks so someone would have to decide.

I don't use the ICE-3 or Thalys for freight trains, as they weren't meant to be freights, so I change the freights to mono and let the ICE/Thalys run on monorail (with cht:tracks)

Good job, BobXP!!

Only a question: is it easy to make it for the Dos version? I'm very accustomated to it (I really love the pixelated graphics, and the "anti-alias" (I don't know if that's the word in english) in Win version makes dance my eyes)

Have u make it easy-to-change-patchs? Well, when we post the cfg file we don't ask to the people their oppinion... so I think the best way is make it so democratic as we can... The Emeric Pro's cfg have good points... and I'm really don't care if (for example) multihead is 35, 40, 20 or 0.001, if it's a reasonable number...

I'm from no-use-any-cheat... tracks and renew are really usefull, but, without them, the league could be more competitive... We have to make it not easy to make many points!! u know: The adversity makes improve yourself!!!

I don't know what that number 5 means, but if we are talking about graphics, the better mode must be the unique (I want my eyes working for many years! :D )

Anyway, let me say you again that it's a good job!!!

Lilman424 wrote:eh, no "league" for me then.....

edit: HA! that ws so easy to hack the scenario so that could you could play without the App.....I'm not gonna do the league, (until you cdon't have to use the app) but I'll still play the scenario.

edit2: don't worry I won't tell people how to hack it...
Lilman424, please, man... don't be rabid and make it easy... we are here to enjoy!!! :D

If u want hack the scenario, ok then, do it... we can't do anything, but... u know... it's a game, we are not fighting for our lives, our country or for a good-payed-job... I think u know what I mean...

yeah, well in real-life it doesn't take a month for a train to go 20 miles...it IS a game, Shadow.

what about tycoon.exe or gamefx.exe?

TTDAlter modifies these files so for all you know i could have monorails whizzing at 600000MPH which is cheating

Vehicle data is stored in the scenario, and unless you did Cht: ResetVehicles or used TTDX Editor, it'd be obvious that the saved game was edited, as the person who checks all the games after the competition would notice it (unless it was edited back afterwards).

Well, I had all sorts of plans for it since yesterday, including automatic analysis of saved games and scenarios, and a dynamic system. I think also I'll store it on tt-forums and tie it in with the forum user database (so we'll have, say, http://www.tt-forums.net/competitions/). We can have high score tables, and all sorts of statistics. :)

display mode -> 5 .....
hard to me. I am using win2k os and setting display mode seems not work to me...

instead of making more patch, I think modifing cfg is more than enough.

Code: Select all

signcheats off
just do it.

if anyone concert about the rail convention problems.
ok, why don't we just play 1900 - 2000
then no rail convention is needed then.

first of all the minimal year is 1921 .. but then is there no vehicles (maybe we will wait on DBSet) .... IMO 1940-2000 is enough (to no make too much money)

It's called TTDPSApp. what a long name! Anyway, Owen do you think that since it's going to be stored here, I could use my ttforums.net username+password to upload new versions?
