no needed, manual convert instead
The place to talk about Transport Tycoon
https://www.tt-forums.net/
I agree, manualconvert is much more realistic.SHADOW-XIII wrote:no needed, manual convert instead
No: you don't have to demolish it first and you can just build over bridges, tunnels and stations.Lilman424 wrote:Manual convert is too hard to use :whine: it takes just as long (almost)
It depends on how long we are playing for: if we play up to 2010 there are hardly any monorails and the electric trains from the tempset are faster so it's no use upgrading. However, if we play much longer then if could either be a challenge or a nuisance to upgrade tracks so someone would have to decide.Lilman424 wrote:and is only good for rail to el-rail not el-rail to mono.
I mean in relation to cht:tracksOracle wrote:No: you don't have to demolish it first and you can just build over bridges, tunnels and stations.Lilman424 wrote:Manual convert is too hard to use :whine: it takes just as long (almost)
I don't use the ICE-3 or Thalys for freight trains, as they weren't meant to be freights, so I change the freights to mono and let the ICE/Thalys run on monorail (with cht:tracks)Oracle wrote:It depends on how long we are playing for: if we play up to 2010 there are hardly any monorails and the electric trains from the tempset are faster so it's no use upgrading. Lilman424, please, man... don't be rabid and make it easy... we are here to enjoy!!!Lilman424 wrote:eh, no "league" for me then.....
edit: HA! that ws so easy to hack the scenario so that could you could play without the App.....I'm not gonna do the league, (until you cdon't have to use the app) but I'll still play the scenario.
edit2: don't worry I won't tell people how to hack it...
no, without Cht: tracks .. and in real life tracks aren't changed in one day .. and it will be good to do it manually , you will prove your skills then ..Lilman424 wrote:...
yeah, well in real-life it doesn't take a month for a train to go 20 miles...it IS a game, Shadow.SHADOW-XIII wrote:no, without Cht: tracks .. and in real life tracks aren't changed in one day .. and it will be good to do it manually , you will prove your skills then ..Lilman424 wrote:
well ... I hope BobXP will find a way with his program to avoid it ... maybe hashing EXE ???Stylesjl wrote:what about tycoon.exe or gamefx.exe?
TTDAlter modifies these files so for all you know i could have monorails whizzing at 600000MPH which is cheating
Vehicle data is stored in the scenario, and unless you did Cht: ResetVehicles or used TTDX Editor, it'd be obvious that the saved game was edited, as the person who checks all the games after the competition would notice it (unless it was edited back afterwards).Stylesjl wrote:TTDAlter modifies these files so for all you know i could have monorails whizzing at 600000MPH which is cheating
Well, I had all sorts of plans for it since yesterday, including automatic analysis of saved games and scenarios, and a dynamic system. I think also I'll store it on tt-forums and tie it in with the forum user database (so we'll have, say, http://www.tt-forums.net/competitions/). We can have high score tables, and all sorts of statistics.Dinges wrote:Do we need a site or not, I can start with it soon.
yes ... Owen's page will be the best idea !!!!! and after all we can use modified version of BobXP tool to avoid any unnecesay hacks/cheats/edits/etcorudge wrote:Well, I had all sorts of plans for it since yesterday, including automatic analysis of saved games and scenarios, and a dynamic system.
