Fine, get drunk, but you can handle the bright lights of London by yourself, whilst the rest of the meet goes home.

He is a dispatcher at the airport, and I should go visit him as his wife has just given birth to his 2nd daughter. Which will be nice. I understand about expense of the Stansted Express, but even if it is more expensive, I would still like to do it if I could.
You don't need to get an FGW service from Exeter to London. You could get an SWT service!?

Please note that i will not be getting drunk. A bottle of cider at the most, if we happen to enter an establishment that sells any.
I hope it'll be good fun what with all these challenges and games. Though it's quite scary to think what Andel can plan...

I'll be trying to actually come this time round, though I won't vote in the poll till I have a clearer picture of what's going on at the time.

As will it be nice to see you all.

I've already told you when I can't come, but if needs be, I will cancel my mother's birthday.

I'm looking forward to meeting the people I met last time, too.
I'm hoping I'll be amazingly more sociable and fluent in English (as in, being able to speak it without such a weird accent).

Dear Mr G. Wacko,

Before attendance I would strongly recommend for you to consider your sleeping position. We no longer have an upstairs and in order for a repeat of last year, it does mean you're on the top bunk.

We are looking forward to showing off the results of last years meet, in spiritual friendship, sacred bonds and a baby. Which we pro-created. In the room below you. At last years meet.

Yours faithfully,

Mr A. N. Del. Esq. Sir. Dip. Eee.

It's only 360 GBP a night to stay in a Sheraton hotel at Knightsbridge. Sounds like a good deal!

As for the showing off of your handy work, I too am looking forward to seeing which influence my presence within a radius of 50 meters of the location of the moment of genesis had on the personality and degree of gender-disturbance of the spawnling.

Lets have a quick moment to discuss Games.

I'm organising a game - it will take about an hour and a half if it goes to plan and will break the afternoon nicely... I want to give out prizes for such game... and as such, these might cost.

I would like to either purchase or give up to 4 t-shirts (2 large, 1 medium, 1 x-large) to the winners of the game... what I'm looking for is for someone to either make/provide some shirts, a design and so on... or a collective donation via orudge to purchase some t-shirts....

does this sound like a good idea to everyone who wants to attend? a couple of quid in a pot each? Or should I just buy a few and see if anyone wants to donate? Or... the possibilites?

Serious thoughts welcome.

I wouldn't buy them unless you're certain they'll be paid for; If last year, and the Dutch meet, were any indication, only about 60% of the people who actually sign up for the meet end up going (luckily, perhaps).

As for the idea of prizes, sounds pretty good. I've got money to spare (that sounds more impressive than it is) so you can count my donation in... But it would be a good idea to first have people commit to the payments, and then if there would be enough money in total, actually have them pay up. Obviously.

One is becoming increasingly more interested in what this 'game' is.
