Oversized? It's a good wipe...
Well, they are a little oversized but Strongbow and I decided to do bigger trains (our motto is the bigger the better

). They have exactly the same size (width) as other trains from "czech factory" but maybe i'll try to resize them and choose a better version...

He is this funny looking "short person" with a wooden leg, dressed like a pirate that stands on street corners in Prague playing the accordion for spare change. He also dabbles in 3D on his spare time away from his corner.

He also smells faintly of lavender.

We first had a contact when I caught him in a tram stealing my vallet. Then he had to promise me to create a model of Skoda 14T...
Anyway, these are M-Set, U-Set and Endeavour trains in a little reduced size...

Hodkowicz, Did you make it possible so that there can be 8 car V-sets, S-Sets and Tangaras?
Oh and Hodkowicz, Do you mind if you can send those to me for testing?

Each train is divided into carriages and power cars, so you can buy everything what you want (eg: 4 power cars and 4 carriages -> pc+c+c+pc+pc+c+c+pc). As you can see on the picture.
Separate vagons shoud be better than a compact train due to R, L, S Set (the same type of a train but different number of carriages. R - 6 (3 motor cars+3 trailers / 4m.c.+2 tr.), L - 3, S - 4, 8 (2x4)).
Well, I haven't still not decided which possibility to choose...

Of course I can, but first of all I have to find some missing information about the trains (power and speed) and decide which variant (compact/separate) shloud be better...

Hodkowicz,
I would prefer the EMU's (L, R, S, V) to be separate cars, the M, T, G & U Sets AFAIK are always 4 or 8 cars long (2x4 car sets). Also, T & G sets (possibly M-Sets too) are DT - MT - MT - DT (DT=Driver Trailer, MT=Non Driver Motor)
The DMU's (Endeavours, 620/702's) have always been 2 car sets so they could stay compact.
Just my opinion.
BTW, the screenies look excellent.

Hey blokes,
Where can I download the cityrail trains? Also, does anyone know of any Aussie trains, trucks, etc available out there? I got the XPT from AMI, which is great, but some more Aussie ones would be even better!! You've all done a great job!

There are some german chaps making a full aussie set over on the fanpage. They are taking a little longer then expected due to illness.
It looks like a lot of is is close to ready for release.

Nowhere...

The set is nearly finished, but I still don't know some technical data (620/720, Hunter, H Set, G/T Set, - power and U Set, B set, Tulloch trailers - capacity, power, speed, weight)... I've been looking for the data for a long time but without any success. So, if you wanted to help me, it would be great.

Hodkowicz, I'm not sure where you can find info for those trains, have you checked Wikipedia and The Cityrail website?

yes. But there is nothing what I need (I mean the information which I mentioned before). I read about a book about the Cityrail trains. So, if someone is from Sydney, he may have this book.

I have a friend who drives for CityRail, I'll call him today and see if he can offer any insight into the issue.
[edit]: that was a dead end, he knows nothing. Sorry to get ur hopes up...!!
