I think some of you mispercept the hanging in a cafe part. The cafe happens to be the place were you finally get the chance to meet other tt-forums members. We can have such meeting in the Dom church, a swimming pool, a restaurant or Hoog Catharijne just as well but "we" decided to go to Kafe België instead.

I thought they had 300-400 different types of beer, most of them being Belgian.

We could always try to crash at lobster's or Purno's crib

.
Edit:
Hyronymus is right, the pub is just a meeting place, it isn't really a place where you start partying, instead you just sit around a table, grab a beer (or another beverage if you don't like beer) and chat a little bit. If you're comming there to just get drunk and hit on girls (or lobster as he has long hair too

) you should go to your local pub.

i'm not, quite the opposite. and then as well, there's the "and"/"or", so in this case "drunk" would have the highest priority.

Completely off topic: Why do I always notice spelling mistakes (or in this case, omitted words) AFTER someone's gone and quoted my post
Completely on topic: I've gone on longer and more expensive trips to meet forum members, so beer isn't my incentive.
Although it does help

I guess I'll try getting there around that time too, then.
Although I don't think Lobster stands out from the crowd enough for me to recognize him, so I hope I can find you people!

In case anyone wants to figure out how to get there, the cafe's address seems to be Oudegracht 196.
If you take the 13:48 bus at Utrecht Centraal, you can get there at 13:54, and then it's about a minute's walk away.
You'll need to take city bus line 2 in the direction of Museumkwartier. (check
http://www.9292ov.nl for more details

)

it's also a mere 5 to 10-minute walk from the station itself, but still one needs to know how to walk. i'll make a little map tonight, perhaps.

Myes I figured you could walk through the shopping centers and what not.
I also noticed that on
this site, they claim it's not open until 18:00?!
I'm not too sure how correct this information is, though.
