Raichase, can you attach the newgrfw.cfg file and ttdpatchw.cfg file? I think it'll make sure that everyone will find this easier.

Edit: Maybe even a zip file containing the above and the relevant grfs. Because tracking some of this lot down is proving to be a bit of a head ache!

He made a post with links to GRFcrawler entries for all the GRFs, I thought. Page two, IIRC.

Thanks flamelord. I've also managed to sort out my ttdpatchw.cfg so my above post is now rendered useless. I'm liking the map though!

It's just a random map generated in my nightly version of TTDP. I liked it immediatly, because there were not a lot of clumped industries or towns, everything is spread out properly.

Could someone please post a zip of their newgrf folder containing all of the necessary files? I've downloaded every single grf file on the list, and I've gotten the newgrf.cfg, but the in-game graphics status window is still saying that I'm missing 4 files. I'd like to get this sorted out before my turn, and I'm sure it'll help everyone else. :)

Looking forward to my bit of the game... I probably won't be able to play until next week (as in a week tomorrow), but it will be fun nonetheless. ;)

Have you tried re-installing it in a new location? It's what I did when my TTDP broke.

It is first come first served, so keep an eye on the thread. I will be giving favourtism to people who have not played already though - for example, if enough people want to play, I'd happily sit it out. It's not the gaming I'm enjoying here, it's watching everyone work their own magic on the network, and have their own little influences. My town name, Dan's junctions, Skiddles naming... etc.

The poll tends to a North American second round, Germany shortly after. No problem for me to wait another round; it's quite fun and interesting watching the games develop... But since I can't find any posts from other people who want to participate in the first German-themed round explicitly, I decided to sum up all open appliances:

- Pug (anything but UKRS)
- Darkmast49 (anything)
- Pookey (anything)
- Lloyd Wolf (anything)
- uzurpator (North American)
- ISA (North American)
- last not least, myself (German)
- SuperTycoon (anything; later decade)
- 2-10-0 (anything; > 1950s)
- RPharazon (Canadian or North American)

Did I overlook anybody? And since this list contains only seven people, and the poll has 23 votes up to now, who else voted but didn't apply yet?

Each turned his face with a ghastly pang,
And cursed me with his eye.

I voted, but may or may not play. I encourage the whole community to vote, even if they don't intend to play - better to go with the majority, may entice more people to play in future.

Count me in for the next round too, but I'd prefer a later decade when there's plenty of cash splashing around for some serious construction work.
