After experimentation, it is quite hard to accurately represent the sloped front.

Sorry I took so long to reply, I've had a spot of computer bother.
Well, I had to reformat the Hard Drive and start everything again from scratch.

I'll have a go at improving the Pacer with your comments as soon as I find the backup I did yesterday (Always helps, a backup!

)

Ok last post of this

Some troyan pastard ride in your computer?!

Nope, just me messing around as usual. Turned it on, it beeped a few times and said 'No operating system detected'. Broke out the recovery disks, reformatted the whole disk, losing my
unbackedup Fedora Linux in the process. I don't mind though. I might try Ubuntu instead.
Anyway, last post!

OK, vote for your favourite Linux in the Off-Topic section!
I've found the DMU in my backup, and I'm proceeding to make it better...

Just a quick question:
Which colour in the pallete is the company colour? Also, which colour is for the new 2nd company colour? That way I can make the sides of the train company colour (1 and 2!).

Thanks Patchman!

I'll be done soon, and I'll get the stats any minute now

OK, here's the finished product! It uses both company colours (original and new 2nd one) and has
most of the comments people made added in. I say most because, like Born Acorn said, it's really difficult to do the slightly sloped front, and it looked weired with the wheels on / and \ view.
Here are the stats:
Introduced: 1985
Power (KW):340
I couldn't find the horespower, sorry!
Max. Speed: 120Km/h
Type: Diesel
If there's anything else you need, I can probably find it.

Looking forward to seeing it in the game! My first train in the game! YaY!

there's still a slight problem, both cars have the wrong | facing away sprite
edit: there's actually a few problems, mainly with the doors:
i've roughly modified your original sprites to highlight them (originals are on the bottom)
sprite #8 wrong end shown, needs to show corridor connection betwwen cars
sprite #10 - wrong door configuration, needs to have one door, near to drivers cab
sprite #11 - wrong door configuration, needs to have two doors, one each end
sprite #12 - cab at wrong end - the "hump" above the drivers cab is at the wrong end on each sprite
sprite #13 - wrong door configuration, needs to have two doors, one each end
sprite #14 - wrong door configuration, needs to have one door, near to drivers cab
sprite #15 wrong end shown, needs to show corridor connection betwwen cars
