I dont think that should be considered 'International'.

In the list ive posted, ive included (with your permisssion! :D ) the EuroCity cars.

These normally just get pulled by any available locomotive AFAIK.

Just one comment about your new avatar jamesvassie,

it should read "SBB CFF FFS" and not "SBB CFF FSS" since the whole thing stands for:

Schweizer Bundesbahn
Chemins de Fer Fédéraux
Ferrovie Federali Svizzere

Purno, do you have any comments on my version of the Re460?

If you want me to make a website, just ask...

I made one for the dutch and german set too.

/ and \ views are way too big (in length), read my tutorials.

besides, your total picture could be smaller

Achieved!

The / and \ views have been shortened, the picture overall is smaller as well.

Your too kind!

How much space do you have for the website? 20gb? :)

Thanks very much
I got the DB Passenger Set website up and running as well.

jamesvassie wrote:Yep, i agree with that list of companies! Some of them: SOB, BT, ZW ...
These companies use mainly the same rolling stock as SBB, just the liveries are different. BTW, it is Z V V not ZW. I'll work on a list of locos and MU's on those. If we have too many we can always cut it back.
... plus major trains visiting Switzerland from Germany, Austria, Italy and France.
Yes, the TGV, ICE, etc. There is one train from Austria, it runs or used to run from Vienna to Zürich - I just forgot it's name - but I'll find it.

James: Do you also want to have steam engines in the set ? I found a few major ones.

Yeah, not too many though as Switzerland is mainly electric locos now! :D

We could probably have just the major ones. We have, i think, 116 vehicle ids, we should keep some in reserve, say 5 or 10.

Proposed List of coaches: (refittable to correct livery of course!)

Small Passenger coach (1920 -mid 40s?)
Local Passenger coach (1940's - end)
Express Passenger Coach (1940's - end)
Double decker Passenger coach (1980's-end?)

This would probably be the same for the wagons:

Small Mail Van (1920 -mid 40s?)
Local Mail Van (1940's - end)
Express Mail Van (1940's - end)
Double Decker Mail Van (1980's-end?)

We should probably work out some freight wagons soon-ish as well.

Mainly is pretty much an understatement. All of the swiss locos are electric, except the few that are used to move the freight and passenger cars around within a station...

Do you guys want the Website look like the one from the SBB ( http://www.sbb.ch )?

btw, shouldn't this topic fit better in ttdpatch graphics forum?

Posted: 25 Apr 2005 17:56
by jvassie
Yes that would be a good idea to have it looking like the SBB website!

Dunno, if it should be moved or not though.

Ive started researching wagons for Swiss Set, heres a coal wagon, empty, half-full, and full:

The coal is too flat and the carriage could use more texturing

and _ view is in my opinion way off scale compared to the others if im right..

More texture + shorter _ view = very very nice coal carriage
