Please don't talk like that, it's taking too much of my time trying to split it up in sentences

Then I have to replace numbers by words and read it over and over again .... tiresome

Right, I'm digging up this old topic because I had an idea a while back and then I came upon this topic yesterday. The easiest way to get Thomas into locomotion would be to edit the sprites of the Jinty , a similar locomotive to Thomas. I've experimented a little with this but I could only get so far. I can use locotool fine and change things in the xml, but I can't do the graphics. I don't understand the pallette and I don't have anything more than paint. So when I tried to make Thomas blue I didn't get very far as the screenshot below illustrates.

So, is anyone willing to do this? I see that a lot of people wanted to see this project completed before it died.

I had a go at doing that but only on screenshots. (can't be bothered to do all the sprites if I can't make the veichles

My tool was MS paint.

The result, see for yourself...

Thats pretty good actually, just what I was thinking of. But I have the same problem that paint isn't any good for this and I don't know what to use.

I've been doing a little bit of sprite modifying.

Here is what I've got so far.

Ok this morning I've made quite a bit of progress.

All the level sprites are almost done. I will then work on the slopes.

You know that you have to draw 136 sprites and that if you want moving rots you need to triple that amount? And that they all need to be a single image file?

First, I will do all the sprites, then think about putting them all in the same file. If I can't do it, then I will see if anyone else will.

Secondly, I can't be bothered to do all the moving rods on a modifide sprite because I would have to copy the liveriy rather than the rod which I won't do.

Yes I have done that.

The pictures I post on here are all the sprites in one but the actual sprites are seperately saved.
