I like to use the alpine climate but the scenarios provided are really poor

and it is not possible to set up a decent net work.

I would love some decent scenarios

How's that? Jim Powers has a bunch of nice Arctic climate scenarios which can be now used with Alpine set also.

You can get all of his great maps here in this thread:

For the arctic climate, you have for example "Lumber Jack" or "Russia, Asiapart". Both very nice scenarios !

Without wishing to blow my own trumpet (too much!) you could try my Majestic Bay scenario.

Or we could get back on topic

. I'm playing on one of Jims excellent scenarios - Mid-Central Rails
![Pleased :]](./images/smilies/pleased.gif)
. This scenario is so much fun, one of the best US Set games I have had so far!
EDIT - fixed some pictures.
As soon as I get a chance, I'll take some more to share with you

.

Similar story, except replace Cornelius' scenario with my one, Rough Alpine Longmap (Requires TTRS Climate hack v2)

Haha, thanks Shadow

. I build the stations based on how they were meant to be built (thats why the station hall tiles don't have fences IIRC, because they can't be on the edge of a platform

).
Or do you mean the function of the station, 'cause it works unless something breaks down (which is why I have breakdowns off now

).
Thanks again Shadow!

Haha, I can't take the credit for those

. PikkaBirds viaduct looks so much nicer than old wooden bridge

I'll try to find some more pictures

These long farm trains are sometimes supplimented by shorter trains. I don't know which set did this, but allowing us to build blank track as station tiles is a genius.
Both me and Michael have this feature in our respective station sets. But mine is modular

.
Nice screenies Raichase. Nice.

I never heard of that feature, but it sounds great.
But then again, I haven't played newstations 0.4 yet, and my PGS-version is pretty outdated as well. guess I have to update that somehow, but I had lots of troubles with all newer versions.
I know the basic platforms, but just blank track is even better.
