Now I can do these slope aware tiles .. I will be making many changes to the Auz_Roadside_Objects and Auz_Lineside_Objects. Anything I can find in these that could be made if can also be made on slopes I will attempt to change.
I will concentrate on the Auz_Roadside_Objects first.
Changes made in last few days:
Some fences in the farm Objects are slope aware as mentioned earlier.
Version above had a few errors with the Wooden Fences .. these .. I hope .. are fixed in the version below.
I done a 'Various Animals' in this will find sheep, cattle, horses and kangaroos that can be places on any shape tile.
Removed previous kangaroos and horses.
I will leave the Sheep and Cattle Musters and the lone horse riders with their dogs.
The 'Various Animals' designed to be used with the Farm Objects farm_objects-2. My animals do not have any hay to eat, you will find the hay in the Farm Objects along with a few different animal objects such as pigs, geese and chickens.
If you want to see for yourself give this a try .. just be warned if you get a good game going with these new changes .. I can not guarantee the next update will work successfully with saved games.
UPDATE: For some unknown reason the file didn't upload so I put it in next section.

Do you like camping?
Put some tents on the slope aware tiles .. now you can make campsites anywhere. Whether a seculed tent on its own or in groupd like in this pic. I put camp files on some of them.

Fires bans wasn't in place when this pic was taken.
The tents on the slopes need some work to them as not really sitting right. See if can fix that over the weekend or just have the tents on the flat sections only.

Until I get my artistic landscaping skills .. I desided to remove the tents from side of slopes and replace with a few wild animals.

In pic there are some black bears, grizzly and some kangaroos. I intend to replace the kangaroos with something different later, but not sure what.

I think that's a god step, separately from your skills, very few people will camp at a slope if there is flat terrain nearby

Yep ..I won't try and put the tents on slopes now .. beside the camper might roll out of bed and down the kill when they sleeping and with bears around that might be dangerous to the bears.
I removed the kangaroos (as plenty of those with the farm animals) and replaced with a few old mines for something different.
There are still the bears on the other slopes that do not have a level section.

Had my holiday camping . now time to get back to work. Got some wheat fields in the hills need harvesting.

- WheatintheHills.png (31.65 KiB) Viewed 2541 times
Finished the wheat field so will build on all slopes.
There are also 1/2 harvested fields and complete harvested.
Will release a sample for you to try I hope in a few hours time. Just need to move the tractors closer to harvesters.
These new wheat fields are all in Auz_Roadside_Objects. I've removed the wheat field I was working on from the Auz Slope Aware Ground Tiles.

Ok here's a copy of Auz_Roadside_Objects with the new wheat fields.
Also a copy of the Ground Tiles with the experimental wheat fields removed ..
Also note that this file is still in experimental stage. Been trying to get some rocks and cliffs looking good .. but think they can be better.
Please comments welcomed.

Started to add some trucks to the wheat harvest .. Trucks curtesy of Polroad - Polish Road Set by McZapkie.

Not sure about other countries, but where I lived for a while trucks when loaded with wheat delivered direct to the Railway Grain Storage and did not use tarpaulins unless chance of rain. I haven't seen it rain in this game yet, so I leave the tarps off.
Be a day or 2 before I release this lot as I have a few more ideas to add.
Cheers

In my country you are probably not allowed to get on the public road without a cover. Risk that grain gets blown off the truck onto the road and cause accidents is too big.
However, I like your uncovered trucks much more, a user should be able to see the cargo that gets transported.

Now we just need soybeans, corn, rice and winter wheat!

Yep. Already got corn, but not slope aware yet. Does winter wheat look any differences to summer wheat?
Rice should be fairly easy as not need slope aware for that

Just need some water with a bit of green showing.
Maybe need some smaller canals for game now so farmers can water their crops.
I going to have to make another 'Class of Object to build' in the Object Selections and call it CROPS. Move all the crops to there as running out of room in the Farm Section.

I think its time to let other users that don't visit the forums enjoy the extras I've added to Auz_Roadside_Objects.
I'm releasing version 10 here and on Bananas.
Version 10 has a variety of Slope-Aware objects such as: Animals (Sheep, Cattle, Horses and Kangaroos), Camping (Tents that can be placed anywhere in the wilderness), Wooden Split Fences (these also match the fences used for the Shearing Sheds, Milking Shed and (the Stock Yards found in Auz_Lineside_Objects), Wire Fences, Grapevines, and Wheat Fields.
I am Very grateful to: Quast65, Pyoro, Planetmaker, Frosch and the developers of the OGFX+Landscape-grf, for their help in creating the codes for the slope aware tiles.
Also in the source codes are 2 txt files with the codes for the slope_aware 4 views and slope_aware 1 view.
I have the following ideas for next version: Other Slope_Aware: Crops such as Corn, Sugar cane, Cotton, and maybe Kamnets idea of Soybeans .. also like to do Canola as look pretty with the yellow flowers. Maybe a field of Patterson's Curse (not sure what correct name is) .. it has purple flowers and growing wild in this country. Very pretty a field of purple.
I've made a few changes in Auz_Lineside_Objects too. Added extra Grain Silos with Trucks unloading.
Here's a sample.
Cheers

I was asked awhile ago in these forums about doing a Locomotive Depot. At the time I not do anything about is as already have the Modular Locomotive Sheds in the game.
Been going through some of my old photos recently of Broadmeadow Locomotive Depot, near Newcastle NSW Australia (1 worked there for a few years early 1970s when steam was still active) and now wondering if I could do something simular as a objects.
It had 2 part round houses and 2 turntables with railway lines going all directions. 1 of the turntables was longer then others to turn a Garret steam loco or 2 diesels coupled.
There was also a coal stage, de-ashing pit, 2 water towers and more. If I do this like to make it also match a Train Depot. What do players thing is the best Train Depot to use?
Broadmeadow did not have doors on the sheds like shown in the Modular Locomotive Sheds. So I think for the fun, see if I can put some locos in side the sheds as objects instead of putting doors on.
I've started playing around with shed sheds from Modular Locomotive Sheds see what I can do. Not sure if I be successful with this idea .. but will give it a try.

Just found some more work for me. When I put the new silos in a game to see how they look .. as the pic shows .. I have no roads to access it correctly.

- NewSilos-1.png (18.24 KiB) Viewed 2344 times
Trust me to notice this after I update it on Bananas.
This now has me thinking .. wonder what other objects I have that could do with a road joining it and vehicles? If you know of any let me know.

That would make an awesome drive-thru depot overlapping sprite!

kamnet: That would make an awesome drive-thru depot overlapping sprite!
You might have a good idea there. I was thinking just put a bend in the road .. but maybe I should move the grain silos back so that the concrete section sits over a road and as you said a overlap.
Can choose what ever road you want fake or real. Next question how to make trucks using a real road stop there to unload?
