I think PBS track darkening should not be removed as long as there are train traffic jams (so we'll have dark tracks forever :) )

PBS reserved tracks, it shows which tracks will be used by the train, I think they're there for debug purposes for now.
Track darkening will stay. Semaphores will leave (some new graphics for pbs-singnals methinks)

I think you have too much rail for only 16 trains there.

I prefer to build less rail. For example, this is my factory station, wich serves 54 trains on the main line

Well your design is surly much better than mine. I still at trying to master the signals to get better results.

btw. 16 trains only for transporting the goods ;)

yeah your signals are pretty horrible... it might even be more efficient to go 1-line 1-train in your case.

try having a look at the junctionary:
http://www.transporttycoon.net/junctions

there is also a signalling guide somewhere, but you'll have to search.

Trying out the new 0.4.0 by having a "RV War" with the new AI on a small map, long story short I had all of my 75 busses going to this single station.

and the roadvehicles don't get stuck on eachother? (I tend to have this problem with more than 5 roadvehicles at the same bustation)
