Mr. Jim Powers:

You're welcome, I'm just glad that I can help somebody :wink:
My norwegian trainset are progressing slowly, it's in beta stage, if you want I can post it to you, so you can test it yourself :)
Actually, I have to disappoint you, but I haven't yet got the time to test "Notable Norway", mainly because my interest for TTD are coming and going ATM.. But I will test it :wink:

Rylix:

Just a simple guess but the most interesting grf's ATM is everything that has something with the US. And then you also have the DBset :wink:
George's LV's are also quite popular, so you have many possibilities.
Last but not least, the planeset. When you have tried it, you can't revert back to the original TTD planes. I've tried :wink:

But, I just got to show a few more pics of this most extrordinary country!

I read that in OpenTTD they are adding new industries, including fishing. (nudge nudge). Looks better then Europart btw, i like it. Must be impossible to navigate them tree filled hills though!

Have fun!

Jim-Powers, your maps would be great to have for locomotion, but sadly the map size needs to be bigger in-order for your fine work to work proply.

still, I don't mind downloading ttd, and playing your maps.

cheers

Why yes I bought Locomotion, i got tired of the demo.
I would buy TTD, but its not on sale here, it can only be downloaded.

Here's "Russia - Asiapart"

TT-Forums Family;

After play testing my last scenario "Russia - Asiapart", I'm starting to
realize just how far the new features in TTD have brought us. I was going
to tell you how much fun I'm having playing this latest scenario, then I
thought, why not go ahead and share it! I've checked this scenario out with
my Russian friend, Mr. Oleg, he advised me of some things that needed
changing, which I've done, so I present to you my latest and greatest
scenario "Russia - Asiapart"!

What a monumental classic this scenario will be! :shock:

Also my hat's off to the guy who made the new Viaduct bridge, It's not
only beautiful, but it's the most realistic bridge, I believe, we have so far.
And, of course, THANKS, the rest of you 'Pros' for all these latest features.
It makes me think it's Christmas! (Shhhhhhh. I'm in Israel. They don't
know this kind of fun!)

Anyway, here's "Russia - Asiapart", and also a screenie too.

Always,
Jim Powers

Mr. Irish;

Thanks for your support, old Buddy. I'm sure you will not be disappointed
with "Russia - Asiapart". Let me know either way, I value your opinion, Sir.:)
Are you building a French train set? Man, do we even have a scenario of France?
I guess I (as an American,:lol:) could forgive 'em enough to make a cool, scenario,
if anyone wanted me to do so. Just joking. Not all people look at things alike.

Always,
Jim Powers

P.S. What trains will you be using in "Russia - Asiapart"?

Hi Jim,

I am indeed working on a french train set. It has only started, so very little has been produced so far. But things are looking good so far, there seams to be a lot of interest.

We couldn't take you into drawing some engines, could we? :wink:

But we will surely need some nice scenarios for the french set. However, I think it is far too early to do so. It will be a while until the set is released and who knows what awsome new features will have been developed by then...
Oh, and we are planning to replace some of the industries as well :P

Jim Powers wrote: P.S. What trains will you be using in "Russia - Asiapart"?
That is a good question actually. I guess it will be the awsome USSet, or do you have anything better in mind?

That's good to hear

Mr. Irish;

Well it's good to hear that you are at work on the French Train Set. I'd
love to design trains, buildings, whatever, that's exciting, but, it's looks
also complicated. About a year and a half back, I asked about how to get
the tools to create buildings for TTD. I was told that it was too complicated
and they were too busy to help me, so.......I went to making scenarios.
I've designed several buildings in MS Paint, if that would give some helpful
ideas to you smart rascals who are lucky enough to actually make trains,
etc. Mr. KRTaylor has been so helpful and his team as well, in letting me
make scenarios for them. He's the one with the "awesome US SET", which
I found to be the most successful train set so far. Of course, this is no
reflection to the truly amazing work that Mr. Blunck has done with his trains,
it's just that I relate to the Americian trains. I'm having a blast putting those
New Stations together, with benches, car lots, roofs, over and underpasses,
etc. Wonderful, wonderful creations. It's 11:00 pm and I just stopped
play, until tomorrow, on "Russia - Asiapart". I'm using the US Set trains
and the New Stations. Makes a great combination. :wink:

Thanks to all those guys who allowed us to have this fabuleous fun!

Always,
Jim Powers

You should have asked me, you know I will help. Please post your files here and I will make comment. I will say that you should have something better than MS Paint, because to post them here they need to be PNG, and to code them in a GRF file they need to be PCX. Also you need to use the proper TTD pallette. There are several stickies in the Graphics forum which helpfully discuss how to do it, and also provide tools and information.

I'll try to send

Dear Mr. KRTaylor;

You've been already so very kind to assist me in so ways, from scenarios
to changing to Windows version, etc., and I happen to know you're a very
man working with more new trains, stations, Japanese stuff, etc., and to put
up with my amateurish ways is asking too much of you. When we both get
time, maybe, you can 'walk me through' the Designing process. I've got the
imagination, just limited PC savvy.

Here's a 'screenie' of my first collection of buildings.

Thanks, my Friend and Buddy!

Jim Powers

Hi Shadow,

Sure, it's part of PikkaBirds BR Miniset.

Have fun.

Thanks for the Bridge

Mr. SHADOW-XIII;

What you up to nowadays, my Friend? That bridge is so cool!
A huge THANK YOU to Mr. PikkaBird! Great Job!

Here's another Viaduct screenie from "Russia - Asiapart".

Jim what have you got in mind for the next country for your scenario collection?

I personally would love to see you do an Australian one in the subtropical climate. Would be pretty schweet. I could give you some very vague infomation if it would help. But i spose youl look up a map if you do decide to

Anyway- Happy Gaming

Outrageous Outback II

Mr. Rylix:

Have you played my Austrialian scenario "Outrageous Outback II"?
It is the second most popular scenario of mine. The last time I looked,
there was 1,558 downloads from just TT-Forums.Net alone! It's on Page #6.
Also it is in Tropic Mode, as you suggested, Sir.

Let me know if you like it. BTW what would you like to see in my scenario,
if I make another one of Austrialia?:idea:

Always,
Jim Powers

I need Elevation Maps of France & Austrialia

Dear TTD Members;

If you'd like me to make scenarios of France and/or Austrialia, send me
some 'Info' about them, and what you like to see in them. I just might be
able to accomplish a scenario to your satisfaction, you think? :wink:

Always,
Jim Powers

P.S. Mr. KRTaylor, I haven't forgot what you'd like to see for a Japanese
Scenario lay-out. Thanks Buddy.
