In 2.5 it is only (AFAIK) an option in the "Image" menu in the image editing view (I hope this is the feature you are looking for by the way!).

Here is the tower at the actual state of work...any (feasible and realistic)suggestions?

One word: Epic.
I actually love it

- An access door on the ground floor.
- I would like to see the roofedges more curve vasious
But in general a excellent design!

Yes you're right...

Do you mean more antenna and transmitting or do you refer at the shape of the roof?

looks good (i can imagine its on the other side

)
nice ladder, did you made all those antennas etc or at the stage you already work with prop file of your own:)
and how do you go around arranging stuff, i played with parent obj this way i can visually order everything logically in the outliner and play with layers for different stages
but what about groups what is their use?

thanks...I have made personally all that you see, also tha antennas...
To say the true I don't work neither with layer, nor with parent and groups...I link the objects (for example the cubes that compose the ladder) simply with ALT+D..so blender duplicate the object and for every modification on the original, it makes the same on the various copies...

i forgot about linked object (it was in the tutorial) and in the menu there was only Shift+D, for the organization part i guess that why i am a crappy artist i more interested in how its works than what i am working on
EDIT: btw i am pretty sure you can do the stairs with the array modifier as well.
Zephyris, thanks it indeed was in the Uv/image section, any idea how i can apply those images to different parts of my object?
i recall seeing something about UV mapping in the tutorial but i cant find it here and from few blend examples i looked into
instead of breaking an object into multiple parts like i do, they seemed to some how apply multiple textures to it

Neob: yes, with the array instruments is more convenient...
BTW, I think this can be considered as final Control Tower..
Meanwhile I've redesigned this gangway:
what do you think? (maquinista)the dimension may be correct?
As usual I've used the 12.5m template

Now I make a reflection...this gangway should be connected directly to the terminal...maybe it should ends without the "accordion piece"...right?

This gang way looks awesom. But indeed this one should be used to dock aircrafts. The piece that connects the terminal building to the main building should not have a accordion piece.

any idea how to make use of similar tool the 'bezier curve' i refuse to click fest my way around those stairs, so built the basic stair shape and multiplied using the array
now i want to curve it around my building (something like this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYWzb6S8-1A) but my attempt's to figure it out ends up in mess.

I would do spiral stairs like this...

yep linking the array to that a helper object with rotation value and playing with worked like a charm
i still want to master that curve thingy but that for later.
EDIT:
now that i feel that i am conformable with the basics i started my object a new
only to get screwed by the basics, any idea why the floor is not drawn here?
EDIT2: NM i found it.

I may be wrong, but weren't those parts of the refinery already done, or were they never released?

yes they are (iirc i even got 2 versions) but for me the point is not making them but practice
this is why its the third time i remake the same building using different technics etc..
what can i say containers are easy and low on details
EDIT: for example next time i'll make railing by simple extrudes and solidifies instead the time wasting crap i was doing so far.

OK, no problem then, I just didn't know you knew, and wanted to prevent an unpleasant surprise.
