I started this game in 1930, using DBsetXL and new ships. My main idea was to test the PBS hack (which is working great, by the way) and build the passenger network early, so that the cities would grow up around my tracks, instead of me having to knock down buildings and such.
Here's an example of my network, from 1939.
EDIT: Saved game post also, per request.

OMG thoses crosses without pbs are most likelly killing your network even though I don't see many trains on it

Some more pics from my current game, ive fixed the pcx extension problem!

:
Picture 1: The growing town of Rotterheim, an ET-30 which connects Rotterheim with Amsterdam can be seen in the station
Picture 2: The tiny village of Leeuwszijl is connected on the mainline with only local trains scheduled to stop there.
Picture 3: Amsterdam has grown, and grown, and has now got a population of 3,500 people roughly. The station is empty for once, whilst several buses can be seen going round town.

Sort of. Steam engines don't build properly for me, so I start at 1930 so that decent electric engines are available. The speed-limited wagons are simulated properley, except that the ICE Trainsets don't correctly build their own cars, so you can't have a passenger train faster than 100mph at the moment.
Still, enough works for it to be enjoyable.

Me and my friend have been busy creating a VERY large city. We achived this by creating a grid of roads, placing road on every third square. The AI ain't stupid enough to build roads side by side, so it had to be filled with buildings only.

Try achieve it in-game by deliverying goods, passengers and mail

Biggest ive managed to achieve in-game is about 50000-60000, i did this using the year cheat to go back in time and redo years again.

A little factory station

hum... great station
Just one sugestion though: you should use more pre-signlas on those bridges, stopping all the trains before the bridges cloogs the network too soon IMHO and I think that with NPF on (starting to become essential, great job devs

) it would improve the netowrk...
...but I'm no expert and I could be wrong

Ok got a ncie pretty station

but i need a lil help with the middle 4 tracks which i use for goods, ive got 2 normal signals at the bottom end on each track and then i have 2 combo signals at the top end of the tunnel. From what ive read the combo signal on the left should turn red because both lanes after it are full but its still green.Altho i havent had any trains run down a full line yet

Renaming a bmp to jpg doesn't make it a jpg ...

ZombieForever, you need to use presignals to make that work. Also you only need single signals at the station exits.

I agree with that, but its no longer technically a BMP and you can upload JPG's so now i can upload it.
