(Supposing that's you who made the video, ) did you know you can drag the raise and lower tools too (since ages) instead of raising one edge and then using the flatten tool?

 obviously no, but thanx for the tip.
The rest is confetti!

 5MB for a GRF file? In a zipped folder?!?
must try out now...
*downloads*

*waits*
...

(edit: the zip file contains readme with pics, but GRF is still over 5 megs. Also, awesome set! Best stations ever! Just a few things missing like buffers... but that will come in the future sometime I think)

i often play openttd, but never used any modification so i have some questions.

does this set work in multiplayer on normal servers?

if not can i easy dissable it?

can i use this set in combination with others like this?

Hello and welcome to the forum of Ottd...
The set in the pic is the TTRS 3 (total town replacement 3), and yes, you can use different graphic sets together, but sometimes you may experience some graphic issues, specialy if you use more than one graphic set for the same things (e.g. 2 or more graphic sets for building replacements or 2 or more sets for trains or vehicles or ecc....)

Hello there, especially the newcomers to the thread.

I'm happy that you like our set :). Just one thing:
Emperor Jake wrote:(edit: the zip file contains readme with pics, but GRF is still over 5 megs. Also, awesome set! Best stations ever! Just a few things missing like buffers... but that will come in the future sometime I think)
Sorry to correct you, but the NewGRF itself is 416 kB. It's really the graphics of the readme that blow up the zip to approx. 5 MiB. ;)

The idea with the buffers was already mentioned, so I think I will draw them as the next extension when I have some free time.

Regards,

My mistake.

Still, awesome set, except that maglev tracks make some of the stations look really weird, as in taxi bay tiles where tracks should be.

Just discovered an interesting bug. Trains can be routed through the gardens of Hannover/Laatzen station. Try it ;)

Was building the station in place of an existing layout with the intention of removing the entrance tracks but before I could do that a train parked itself neatly in the gardens.

I have run into a bit of trouble with regards to the Hannover Messe Laatzen station from this set. Time did not allow me to fully use the set until now so please forgive the delay. I have seen several screenshots with this station in them built in the proper way but whenever I try to do so I get one of the results shown in the attached screenshot. This shot was taken from within r22317 of OpenTTD - a new game with no other NewGrfs loaded except this one. Any thoughts as to what is causing this problem would be greatly appreciated.

The instructions for this station are fairly simple in that it only needs to have 5 platforms (the top platform is a phantom platform that allows for the overhead span to go to ground) and anywhere from a 2 to 5 tile length in the other direction. As the screenshot in my previous post shows I cannot seem to get the proper setup no matter what configuration I try. There seems to be the beginning of an overhead span on every tile and it never completes its path to the other side of the station.

Unfortunately, even if you don't want the phantom platform, you have to have it for this station to work, as the post above says, if you make it 5 tracks wide it'll work.

All shown layouts at the screenshot have a width of five tiles. Take the 'greener' green tiles into account.

A width of 5 tiles maybe, but not a length.. biggest station on there is 4*5 or 5*4.. no 5*5..

Just downloaded and tried (successfully) in r22254.

FYI - for those of you thinking he has not followed instructions - the light green area IS part of the station, so he has a few 5x5 stations. It will also not let you drag and drop the wrong size.
