Now teh FP45 should be fairly easy. I re-used DanMacks FP45 for player 3 (yes, I'm feeling a bit lazy right now), so I really only have to make 3.
In the mean time I'm going to try the passenger cars to make them match the engines. Anyone got any ideas for Player 4's since I've never seen a black passenger car. I'm thinking one of the following:
1. use the players second color for the car body and have a a stripe for the first color.
2. re-use the original grapics
Yeah, I dont care about there never being black passenger and mail, do it, have a 1 pixle stripe of 2nd company colour along the sides like on the locos.
BTW, good jop on those F45's

Hey this is a bug I noticed. When you have a bunch of amfleet coaches, sometimes one of the cars in the middle turns into a baggage car sprite.

Also, I'm not sure if this was a bug or not, but when I had trains with amfleet coaches in them, the consist of heritage sleepers and amfleet coaches would change every time it turned around. For example, the train would Station A with 2 heritage sleepers and 4 amfleets. Then when it turns around at Station B, it would have 5 heritage sleepers and 1 amfleet. This is the same problem Emperor jake had.

Also, are you going to make the bilevel coaches refittable to bombardier coaches/superliners? I know you can change the livery but it isn't terribly realistic to have commuter coaches on a long distance train or superliners on a regional train.
In any event, great work on this so far! I've had lots of fun with it!

Yeah, I think thats a bug, but ive never seen that happen
For the bombardier bi levels (octagon shape) and super liners, they appear at different times and climates, though i wish I could have high capacity Bombardier Bi Levles, like the ones that GO Transit uses (they hold over 130 People per car)

Nothing we nor pikka can do, ECS uses A LOT of cargo slots and limestone happens to override NARS2 regearing if ECS comes after NARS2, and regearing overrides limestone (limestone quarry will make gearing) when NARS2 comes after ECS
Will you fix it or NARS doesn't support ECS now and in the future?

I believe it's been said that for now, it's going to be left the same.
So probably not. You'll have to either not use Construction Vector, or find a different train set to use with ECS.

Or disable regearing in NARS.

By parameter. Click the link in Pikkabird's signature for PikkaWiki, and look up NARS2 on it.

I'm here, I've been busy with college and fixing up my new car. I have managed to get those passenger cars about 90% for players 1, 2, and 3. I'm still stuck on what to do with player 4s, but for now they are getting the defualt cars.
I was contemplating redoing the cab units for Player 4 into a paint scheme more like Southerns, but IDK if they creators of the set would go with that one or not.
Regarding using all of ECS with NARS, if you somehow got rid of one of the ECS cargoes (say tourists for instance) would re-gearing come back? I can live wih out regearing, but I kind of miss it using ECS. Especially on that one US map that has all of ECS.

Only if the one ECS Vector you threw out was Construction Vector, as it's the Construction Vector's Limestone that over-rides regearing.

I'm not sure if this is a bug, or wrong setting, but it's driving me crazy.
Playing with nightly r18190, and NARS 2.03 (both the most recent). When I do the following:
1. Build two stations and connect them.
2. Build depot.
3. Build any engine.
4. Attach more than 4 cars of almost any type.
5. Give orders.
When I hit the "Stopped" button to start the train, nothing happens. If I sell enough so there are 4 or fewer, the train runs fine. If I attach passenger coaches, I can do as many as I want. But for coal, oil, livestock, etc. the train just won't move.
Any suggestions?

Freight trains require a caboose (I think they're called that in NARS2, it's been a while since I used it)
May want to check to see if adding one changes things.

You rock, thank you. I tried looking through the documentation, but I guess I never came across that note.

Um, no, even removing the construction vector just causes the locos to use another cargo that over rides regearing. Anyways< i hope to see more stuff from you and I REALLY HOPE SOMEONE CODES THEM SOON, I wanna play with a GP40, in push pull style and regular too :3 along with the FP45
Also packer, can you please do the MPI MP40PH-3C?

Neko, perhaps you should try this in game first?
The cargo IDs don't change. Regearing/Limestone both hold the same slot. Nothing else.
So removal of ECS Construction Vector DOES solve it.

No I did, I remeber that the regear was still replaced by something or still didn't work :\

While Ingame? That could be the source of it, if not, then I'd ask George how the cargo ID's are assigned depending on what Vectors are and aren't loaded.
But TBH, I doubt those who play with all Vectors loaded will be able to have Regearing and all ECS cargos together.

Well, though its still a long ways from being officially released (other then alphas) you could use the FIRS industry set :3

I wasn't commenting on what I do... I've been playing with PBI and a locally modified version of the UKRS Brick Chain instead. FIRS, I'm leaving for when there are stable builds, and ECS I'm not in the mood for. So NARS2 works fine for me.
