Translated into Japanese ECSVectors.
Japanese, because it contains multi-byte, UTF-8 write it with the hexadecimal.
Please update ECSVectors.

If you look on !Xi Citybuilder ECS, you can understand better which ECS I need ;) Thanks ;)

Hello all,

I have some problems with ECS

First about water towers :
- (Maybe this is normal) It's 2115 and towns are still displaying ECS 1st Era water tower (http://wiki.ttdpatch.net/tiki-index.php ... aterTowers).
- Water towers are not created in some towns : I have founded a new city, made it grow to 7.4k with the "finance new building" option but there still aren't any water towers (yet I have 3 petrol station, 3 car dealers....) and so i can't get the town to grow

I've checked some other forums about this problem, but the said the problem was fixed with the newer versions of ECS (yet i'm using the 2011 version)

Then about coal mines/Sand pits and others :
- Production level is MINUS (-) 11.071% all the time. I can't see productivity level.
- On other production factories i have "livello" (I assume it's italian.... french translation not available yet ?)
- ..... And the factory display "very high" even when they are at 25% productivity. Normal ?

What could i do to fix those problems ?

Running ECS 2011, french language.

a) If you specify to use era 1, era 1 houses would appear even in 2115-th
b) Every house has a chance to stay for long, up to 2115-th
Also, there are no graphics for water towers for eras 3 and 4, so the only graphics you can get is eras 1 and 2 graphics

If you do not have eras 1 or 2 switched on, no water tower would appear after 1990-th. In the next version of the ECS Houses the last water tower in town would be protected.
If you would prospect a new town after 1990-th, it would not get a water tower.

Thank you for your answers George. I didn't realise those things about "era buildings" weren't set to "enable" by default.

I updated my last post --> bug with industry productivity

Oh and by the way you mentionned a newer version of ECS.... When are you planning to release it ? (if that's not too confidential :mrgreen: )

As I can see, French translation is outdated for these industries. Snail did all the Italian and French translation. Please contact him and report him the problem or you can fix the translation yourself at http://wiki.ttdpatch.net/tiki-index.php ... ranslation and report it to me, I'll put updated translations into the GRFs.

I have checked the translations and found the source of the -11.071 % ( (\80 / \80) missing in some lines ).

Here is a list of the changes that should be done.

I couldn't find the strings concerning the factory which produce goods (the "livello" I mentionned) I assume it's fixed already.

As for the "factory displaying "very high" even when they are at 25% productivity", this was a mistake from me, sorry about that.

You can change the wiki yourself. It would be the best solution. I do not speak French, so I may insert your suggestions wrong. The wiki page goes directly to the GRF without any change, so if it would be correct the GRF would be correct too.

Aaah I didn't realise I could edit the wiki... I thought I needed special permissions or some action 4 client ^^ (I've never had any experience with wikis)

I see the next version of ECS has been released (yet your website still shows "ECS vectors v1.0" - At first I had not realised a newer version was out :mrgreen: )

One more question about updating translations : is there a way to add comments ?

For instance on ECS Town http://wiki.ttdpatch.net/tiki-index.php?page=ECSVTTown someone didn't translate correctly water source strings : language id wasn't inserted (the translator let the FF from the general string). I'd be happy to modify it but i can't recognise what language this is, so I would have liked to indicate it so that a more qualified translator could fix that

if you would add // It the beginning it would become a comment Also you can add a coment before or after the wrong string. Just add // in front of it

I have a new problem thought I am not really sure this has something to do with ECS.

I am palying a game on the French tropic server and I have some problems with the transportation quality/level of iron/coal mines which won't go past 69% even with 5 trains waiting to get the minerals and max vehicle supply.
This is extremely annoying because production won't go past 13%, thus preventing me from making more trains

The server is using NARS v2.03, all ECS vectors with parameter 2 (infinite resources), ECS Houses parameters 0 1 1 1, eGRVTS
The game is still running on Openttd RC3 so you could acces it directly, but i am providing a savegame as well
Stuck 69.sav
Openttd Mines stuck at 29% transportation level
So Production stucks at 13%

...But maybe i'm just missing something else ? I found nothing on google about that.

I thank you for the link.

So if i get it well...
- 40 because no cargo is in the station
- 130 because trains are staying at the station
- Age of vehicles (the table only show data if age <= 2, but what bout higher values like 20 ?)
- 9 because of max speed (entering station at 120km.h --> (120-85)/4 = 8.75 rounded up --> 9
* With NARS max speed for wagons is 120 or so

Total : 179x100/255 = 70% is that right ?

Edit : Ok problem fixed. Building a statue in the town of the station was enough to make rating go up
So it had nothing to do with ECS :oops:
