The goal have simply been to have everything transported and a transportation rate above 70% of all industries.
no cheats what so ever have been used.
Woah at your images. How long has it taken you?
I haven't achieved as much as that on rail networks, but still attaching my few pictures.

I'm not one to take pictures of my game, but I thought I should make an exception...

Behold the majesty of the Carninghead Loop Railway, circa 1833.
(After I took the screenshot I added anticlockwise starting signals at Carninghead and Tentfield, and clockwise at Tentfield.

What a sweet trains

, but how do you make sure the cattle at Carninghead won't get sick due to the high speed that the train is running?

Just a quick one... is the general consensus that adding cars to a realistic scenario is a good or bad thing?

Is it just me, or did everybody else also read "Larson Ducks", instead of "Docks"?

It's Docks there, it's an optical illusion because of the bright background of the "o" letter.

Hi guys,
let me share you some screenshots of my saved game, which I play with my son:
The track section you can see here is one of my bigger stations within this savegame. I am pretty proud of this, took me some time until I could make it as efficient as possible.
When we move a bit to the north-west you can see the other part of the city, including it's two airports, and many bus-stations and tram-stops.
I made some improvements for this small town: I have placed a factory and a wood-mill. I am transporting grains and animals and wood, and keep the goods transferred to all the big cities. I am considering also further improvements with time...
This is an improved version of the 4-track junction; I have transformed it to a 2x4 tracks junction. Because of the increased usage I had to create this, otherwise it would've been acting as a bottle-neck of this area.
This is just a screenshot of one of my bigger cities, where I deliver goods and valuables to.
I also have created a 'highway' within the game using the 'one-way' feature of the road making toolbar. Here is a section of it.

This is the smallest map I've ever played on (256*256), and by 1962 every town is somehow serviced but two. Showing is the newest part of the rail network, but rapidly becoming the most important.

Well done! I would reconsider a bit of redesign, but if the current layout supports a high ammount of possible transports, then it's fine.

Thanks

.
By redesign, do you mean redoing the tracks to make the network more efficient? I suppose it would be possible, but the network is actually quite empty and can easily take current demand. For the future, what would you suggest?
The main junction, which leads to the bridge traversing the lake (actually seven individual bridges of 15 tiles each! The raising of land etc cost £1 million).
The network.

Also, just for fun, a screenshot of a game which I just dug up of a time before I discovered the beauty of the network.
Showing is most of the platforms of one of the largest stations, as well as the full smallmap.

And that was My company. Building nice little tracks. Unlike Lawton with his triple headed cramptons.
