Well as M.Blunk told me, these problems most commonly occour when you modify your newgrf file and try and run an old save game with the new newgrf file.

I'm waiting when Michael repair trains .... (take a look at long trains like TGV .... somtimes they have free space between carriegess and sometimes don't have)

TO JOSEF: (a 33)
I found sometghing odd .... at slow machine vehicles don't unload ..... (test 200 mhz) but at fast (1ghz) they unload cargo !!!!! strange (tested the same savegame)

To Patchgod also: have a look at this thread http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?p=44997

Basically, somehow when I use unload with passangers (tested a few others, and they seemed to work), they don't unload fully. Any idea what caused this?

To Shadow and Patchman:
yeah, I noticed it too, but I think it is more difficult. I have processor on 715 Mhz (and that isn't slow :D ), and some of my trains are doing what Shadow wrote: the trains arrive to station, and just a part of cargo is unloaded, and train is leaving not empty... you can see it marked on attached screenshot. And when you send the train again to unload, without loading a new cargo, after 3 or 4 times the train unloads the whole cargo and leaves empty...
I cant say for sure it is in alpha 33, because I noticed it yesterday, but yesterday also I installed alpha33, I dunno...
I attached savegame too, if you want to explore it yourself. I'm sure that trains 1,3 and 18 are doing this... maybe others too

It is only happening when the order is set to unload over here.

That is not true. The train on screenie does not has unload option in "Go to". And other trains too. Try the savegame, you'll see...

I believe you but in my games the only problem exists if I use feeder services that don't fully unload.

I think miscmods=8 fixes the problem too. Turning feeder services off definitely fixes it.

oook, I'll try... but with feeder service off, I'll spend part of today's evening by rebuilding few tracks... :D looking forward to do it :D

btw. what exactly means miscmods=8? I tried to find it in manual, but I failed...

I agree feeder-service isn't needed becouse the only thing you'le miss is the profit at the feeder trains.

It's an alpha switch - that means it's not in the manual yet. I'm glad to see other people still read the manual ;)

double-posting :)

I think the autorenew switch doesn't work fully operational :). Let me add though that it works just as TTDLX does it when I renew the engines by hand, but that is wrong also.

Here's why. If I renew an engine (train/bus/etc.), the new vehicle doesn't continue with the orders it left off with, but jumps back to order 1. This is pretty annoying, since you have to manually set it to the order it was at (by pressing skip several types), but the switch doesn't do this, and can mess up lines (mostly train) pretty badly.

I hope I was helpful

Are you sure that auto-renew resets the schedule? I'm pretty sure it doesn't...

I think it might be more because the trains go out of their way to find a depot, and they can't find their way back to the scheduled route.

Edit: yep, I just tried it, and my trains just continue on their schedule. check where you have depots, or ideally put the depot on the schedule (using "gotodepot on")

Edit 2: ooooh, I got the 44,000th post :)

I thought so, i have been useing it for ages and no problems. Oh, Patchman, congrats ;)

P.S. Ignore the e-mail i sent you, i now have 200+ crash reports so i just re installed TTD and all my graphics from sctratch, wrote a new cfg file etc... I dunno why it wrote ao many crash logs, but you can ignore my problems - all fixed :D

Congrats Patchman :)

Hmm, I'm way too quick with saying that this/that is bug. I tested it too (had to wait 4.5 years though, cause autorenew goes only up to 128), and yes, it turned out to be ok. However, with the 'forceautorenew' option, the train goes searching for a depot (and there are no depots on the scedule, since I think then it would go to that one as you said above), and if that search is right after the station they need to be, they skip that, go to the depot, and screw up majorly. So I turned off 'forceautorenew' and it works fine. I just don't like putting depots en-route, since I remove, or move them a lot, and then I have to readd them for every train there that passes. I just use waypoints that are connected to a forced depot.

So sorry, my fault, it works, just trains are very stupid when it comes to depots :) (that's why you had the switch 'gotodepot' implemented :) )
