I hope we have a well balanced rolling stock. If there are holes (times where too many trains are retired, but no new ones are availabe) we can work it up later.
About lifetime: it's around 30 years for diesels and 40 for electrics. These we can also fix up after testing a game, for balancing.

OK, 2 more locomatives.
About the retire times, I have not much time today. So it will be added on saterday's evening, I hope.
One more thing: I didn't understand what 1.00hp means (Dev site)
so, I put it as 100hp. If I'm wrong, tell me and it will be fixed.
Death, are you using the stats from the HTML tracking table? DO NOT do that, because many of them are in the WRONG units - that is, the Patch expects different units. Please use the Excel file I've posted. That has all available data converted into the correct units for the Patch. Here is the most current version.
Meanwhile, I have been working on the 104 EMU. Now only 4 more EMUs to go! Once the EMUS are finished, I'll work on the remaining steamers, and after that, on the DMUs.
By the way, I could begin looking for information about trams, but I am not sure about what data do we need for them... do they also use TE and HP? It was already hard to find technical data of trains, go figure out about trams... I hope no one feels offended if we just develop our own numbers, addapting them as best as possible for gameplay
I have no clue what trams use for stats. AFAIK they are treated as road vehicles, so whatever you need to know for those, is what you need for trams. Ask George, he's the master of RVs.

Resently, I've worked on the 272/273, but unfortunately I have to re-read the wiki, 'cause I have problems.
yestreday, I returned to work on the simple locomatives.
I've just finished the 274 Electric. see below.
krtaylor, I cheked the xml file. I've used it for the last grf that I made, but some details are wrong. you should update the HTML and the Action 00 folders.
I didn't write the HTML and Action 00 tabs. Those just came with the Excel file from originally the US set. If you know that changes should be made to the formulas, please make them and repost the Excel file for me, then I'll save over my copy with your updated copy and go on from there. BTW, it is not XML, it is Microsoft Excel.

Wow! Quite nicely done Now speeds and horse power have improved since the last version.
I'm really curious to see that 272/3 rolling!
As for the serial number, let's leave it as 272. Also for the tracking table, krtaylor. That will simplify things, we don't need to have confusing numbers. By the way, nice update with those stats and the AVE100!
I'll be on a trip until january 5th from today, so I won't be checking the boards.

OK, another loco... well, actually it's a wagon, passengers/mail.
I'd not known which locomative the brown wagons are belong to, so I put it for later.
see below.

well, bad news

In poggress, but I asked it because some details are missing and some details I don't know what property they are belong to. when I finish it, you will able to see the problems there.
Don't be too sure, because I don't understand coding. I know what original data is required, but I don't really understand what the calculations and actions are all for. We'd probably have to ask someone like Oracle.

Death, I just tested the file you have posted. I was wondering if the passenger cars can be just a bit sepparated from each other and from the locomotives.
Can you try to release the next version with all the long distance passenger cars? (upper row in the scheme at the beginning of the tracking table, don't mind the top row in the 1990~ cars column)
