Great to see we got some entries in the end, and wonderful to see temporal8 do a comeback
I've been absent lately because of, well, life, but hoping to make a comeback for next month's entry!

Thanks, nice to see you guys, with little time too, but I needed to distract myself a bit from life.

The last Wednesday came and went and we have but one submission.
The rules say we should extend the theme for another month and we shall.
Welcome to October/November 2021.

Welcome to October/November 2021.
Last month you closed the submission on the 30th, this month is the 28th? I think that all the participants are counting that the current closing is on the 30th, in fact I thought that. i have my submission ready since some days ago.
If that is not the case, I think the rule should be clear: the closing time must be the last day of the month.

We have been closing submissions at the end of the last Wednesday of the month as it disappears across the international date line for some time now.
Either way, your entry would have given us only two entries and the rules require three, so the time spent on your entry was not wasted. You can still submit it by the end of the last Wednesday in November, which is midnight of the 24th (SST).
Hopefully, if I can get my act together, we will have three entries.
Meanwhile, I will note it in the rules for future reference.

Ok, all the past years I thought it was the last day of every month and I was guided by that, It seems much easier.
Thanks for correcting me.

Finally had some time up my sleeve to enter the competition.
This is at the end of the branch line where the town is surrounded by farms of various types. There a race meeting on today so locals and visitors from neighboring towns are all at the races hence why the streets are quiet.

Workers at the Winwood Regional Storage Center do not rest for a minute as it receives trains from all over the country 24 hours a day.
All the main brands have a deposit in this center because it is one of the most important in the region.

Oh horrors! At precisely midnight of the last Wednesday in November 2021, after much screeching of breaks, the momentum was simply too much, and that last Wednesday in November 2021 disappeared, with nary a splash, into the calm waters of the far side of the International Dateline, never to be seen again. taking the time for submissions along for the ride. Regretfully, submissions are CLOSED. The good news is that we have rescued five glorious submissions for which you may browse for your favourites.
