Does this one make any sense to any of you?

Actually, this big spaghetti mess is before the entry to the main station (which currently handles around 170 trains, but looking at it makes me think it can handle around 250).

All this mess is required so that trains comming from various directions avoid the line leading to one of the stations' entry (there are 6 of them).

Also trains comming from each of the 6 entries must be able to find it's way to any of the 6 exits (actually, there are two 3-entries/3-exits) blocks.

Here's a game for you, try to find the 6 entry points, and the 6 exit points. If you find them, you get a cookie.

Prof. Frink wrote:GoneWacko's cloverleaf. The reversed signal down the track means that it's completely useless ;)
Heck, the cloverleaf was a great improvement from the junction that used to be in it's place!

And it's not my fault the pathfinding is too smart for Mandatory Servicing -_-

Edit:

Oh and now that were posting pics of that particular match... :p

This is what happens when Prof_Frink gets bored.

Oh, and here's what happens when you have a lamer in your game and a person who does not think that buying all land around a factory is lame :P

followed by _my_ view of the cloverleaf

To bad i didn't manage to take pics of my glorius truck network before it was removed -_-
and note, people only took a issue about me buying land around the factory after i told them, not before it.
and nobody was near me by atleast 60 square radius, no one had reason to use the factory, and only i brought raw materials to the factory.
in the screenshot you notice ChrisCF & Starlite.nl sabotaging my trucks by running over them.
People start whining(first says he got no intent of using the factory, couple moments later a u-turn and the whine starts about how he can't build around the factory, few hundred years later, the factory is still served though its a other company, but i see no airport by the person who started the whine) about a outback truck company, wich bought land around a factory to keep its big source of profit, that hardly makes any profit comparable to their £200,000-1,000,000 companies(i made £80,000 a year).
I don't know what i did wrong, my company was small, i hardly could buy any new stuff expect about 10 road vehicles a year, and 6 loading platforms and few pieces of road, i just wanted to protect my major source of income.
There was also no set rules on anything, not atleast i was informed of before entering the game.

That was a fun game. ;) I'll post some more shots and a game up next week probably. ;)

That's exactly for this kind of games that the subsidiaries patch was created...

Hmm.. I want to service this coal mine, how should I do that...
Oh wait a second, there's a backbone passing nearby...
Let's cleanly connect to that...

I like this way of playing, it really feels like teamwork, altough you all run separate companies...

The subsidaries management patch. It allows companies to own each other but still be companies. They can share tracks and airports and everything.

Or the DB set, for that matter.

Those pics are clearly from TTDPatch, not OpenTTD -_-

No, no its OTTD.

DBSet works but ive never used it so it might only be an older version, and Hackykid is working on now and binarioes are out.

Well, I would not make such hasty conclusion. PBS is working fairly well thanks to Hackyid's patch, DBSet(not XL) is AFAIK also working in Openttd. I don't know if TTDPatch supports new airports, which could be see on second picture. And, at last, wouldn't you need electrified track to run electric engines in TTDPatch? Maybe I am wrong but I would say that these pictures are from OTTD.
EDIT: Born Acorn was faster

I know the DBset work.. I actually have the DBsetXL in my config in OTTD
But when did PBS become implemented? Now recently?
