You think the bridge is done? wow great!

The so-far-so-good version of the bridge (for testing)

only the bottom-left to top-right bridge is modified.

changes:
1. deleted crosties on bridge-ends
2. made concrete on bridge next to rails a bit darker (200->178)
3. made bridge-ends concrete next to rails a bit darker

I asked for steel-bridge pictures, but I don't have any yet (I know their hard to find, but I need them to go on with my work). So until there are pictures found I'll take a brake and relax for a moment.

I will try to find bridge pictures and post them on the Bridges page on my website. If anybody else finds any PLEASE say so and I'll put them there too.

Until we find some good pictures of bridges, do you want to work on some of the trains Dinges, or maybe some Oriental trees?

I'm working on my website and are working on it now, there are a few things that need finishing so I can spend less time managing the web-site and have more time to play some TTD. So my answar will be NO, not at this time  . If I'm done with it I will think again. :P (If there aren't aren't any bridges posted by then)

Here is another picture: http://www.hsba.go.jp/bridge/e-simotu.htm (This is a nice picture.

That's a nice bridge to replace the cantilever bridge!

I have tryed to make this design into the bridges but it's nearly impossible becouse of the bridge design in TTD.

EDIT: Forgot the picture.

Dinges, would it be possible to use that bridge for the single-length flat steel-looking bridge that you get when you make a really short bridge? Or is that sprite used for other things where it won't match?

umm if you talking about the bridge with a length of 2, that bridge is just the 2 abutments end to end

No, I meant the bridge with a length of 3, the two abutments and one single segment in the middle. This almost always appears as a slab-steel-sided girder bridge. This might also be used in the suspension bridge though if the segments don't add up quite right, is that the trouble?

If you make the middle it has to make a curve so with long bridges this is impossible becouse you need flat ones. I could make it but I need to fix the ends for it. But becouse bridges all have the same ends it can't be done.

EDIT: it can be done if I make a sprite a little wider but then we could get flickering effects.

Ah, well, probably it isn't important to play with it now. We can always tinker later.

What I really am looking forward to seeing is the trains, but nobody seems to be all that enthusastic about working on them.

Do you want me to do everything?

No Dinges, that's not realistic, I'm assuming you aren't independently wealthy :-)

There are a couple other people that offered to help but I haven't seen much from them recently. If they said they were working on something, I understand if it takes a while. But it's nice to hear from them every now and again.

I can't do graphics unfortunately, I don't seem to have the eye or the hand for it. When I need it done in my business I have to pay somebody else to do it.
