I've used Photoshop too for copy/pasting sprites into a spritesheet too. I would recommend using GIMP though as that seems easier to use the pallete in IMO. I haven't exactly found out how to do such things properly in Photoshop.

In order to force a certain pallete to a picture in photoshop go Image -> Mode -> Indexed Color and select Custom Pallette from the dropdown list. Then press load and load, if you have a pallete file of the TTD-Pallette (Ive got one, drop a PM if you havent), the Pallette file.
And that is how to force a certain pallette to an image in photoshop (CS4 Extended 64bit if that matters).

Yup, in PS 7 it's the same procedure.

My intention was, because I want to start to draw some myself, as it does seem very interesting, and also partly on how you worked on it. And when I said 'normal' I meant the sprites for a train. Sorry about the mix-up, because when I first read on how to draw sprites, the example was about drawing sprites for trains.

bwong
Great! I hope we can see some stuff from you some time

one little BIG question: May we have a % value of the work?
Thanks Both!

Correction:
Readme: 20%
Graphics: 100% (excepting bugfixing)
Coding: Dunno, you will have to ask Xeryus
Because it's so a sad and dark weather out there (

okay, maybe not because of that, but I recently had an inspiration concerning a special garden), I now present something that I have created and completed right away: A 2x2 flower garden matching the other plazas & station forecourts.

Coding is at some 60% ish of the total sprites, or 30% of the total amount of stations I guess

I'll have to look into the eventual amount of stations as I'm cutting down on station IDs as I go along

Coding is quite far now actually, although I still have A LOT of simple sprites to do. This weekend hasn't seen much coding though as I was at a party all night last night and I'm on my first forum check of the day

I have also been watching loads of anime so I couldn't do any coding in that time

It is going to take even longer, I've been working for 10+ hours every day since Boxing Day and it will continue until the end of next week probably.

I think you'll find that he has been
working not
working on it. At least that is the interpretation I put on it.

You are correct indeed. I just came home from work and I'll have to do loads of sleeping tomorrow as I have to catch up on some and I have to work tomorrow night too. Good thing is that I get to laugh at a colleague tomorrow.
