Let's start the mail van series. Someties I'll choose luggage car version rather than the actual mail van version. In fact, using locos is often less economical (in both the game and real case) then EMUs

2 more is come 8)

25Z is not designed for long distance trains, so there is one combi car for each train which use half of the body as luggage area. On the other hand I've also finished 25K Luggage Car

The last 2 has been finished: Type 22 Mail Van and the vintage Type 21 Passenger Car. So all the sprites for the pack has been compiled and they can be available for all of you after programming the XML 8)

OK, one more to be added. It's the so-called "Specialist Carriage". Like what the name tells, I will make it be something special in the game.

I always have been curious, what is that small loco-like train I see everytime?

They are the small railbuses, which can be used as a light duty locomotive. I've included them in most of the Chinese metro pack. I've made 2 of them, the old one actually looks like this, and it is only included in Beijing Metro Pack:

http://jldtl.com/products_view.asp?id=21

and the new one made by Gemac actually looks like this:

http://www.xfge.com/en/ProductOpen.asp? ... =5&Type2=7

I made them for pulling mail vans in metro tracks. There are always many mails occupying the platforms, and using only the metro EMUs is not enough to clear all of them (and make a lot of money as mail trafficking is much more profittable then passengers) so I need to have a few trains with mail van only to serve the demand. But you won't see mainline locos running in metro tracks, and it's too powerful (and too cosy) to do so as there maybe only 3 to 4 mail vans per train :D

I've found that the 25B Double Decker Passenger Car is missing from the screenshot, and there is a new one

Aha, but are they actually intended for passenger services on small lines as well or not? At least the older one looks like such one.

I'm not sure, but likely not. It seems that they will always pull only 1 to 2 passenger cars (say the aged Type 22) if they serve for village transport ,but their major use is to pull the maintenance vehicles

Congratulations :!: Your new Chinese coaches and mail/luggage vans look great ! So I can build my planned long distance track and use your new rolling stuff there. Thanks for that amazing work !

Btw: the little railbuses are very useful, I carried just a lot of mail with them :)

One of the reasons I don't make the locos and trailers of China Railway it should be a HUGE collection of vehicles. But if there has been the collection of passenger cars, there should be some locos. OK, let's start with DF (diesel-electric) Series. Only mainline models would be available as we have no point to have shunters in the game. The first one is one of the most widely used model

There's always the limit of locomotion objects as well.
To tell you the truth I still haven't played with your models, but everytime I look at it I want to play with them.

This is the first mainline diesel-electric locomotive for mass-production. There are also DFH diesel-hydraulic series but I think they are not that really useful in the game.

Wooow, really excellent pictures of your new diesel engines, I look forward to use them with your new passenger cars. Which classes of diesels do you want to build ?? I know the DF1, DF11 (they are double engines when I'm right), DF4 and some more from different photos in the world wide web.

I will make DF1/DF3(same exterior look but different gear ratio for passenger/freight trains), DF4/DF4B(also same exterior look), DF4D, DF8B, DF11 and DF11G(the double engine one, designed for direct express trains). The others in DF series are either shunters or not very common models.

It's the most powerful diesel locomotive before introduction of HXN series, used for heavy freight trains
