Question to the audience. We want this to be a company colours set, right?

I could consider realistic liveries, but mostly 2CC seems to be the way to go. Anyone care either way?

I'd prefer IRL liveries, really.

I'd say try to add 2cc where aplicable as if you don't want 2cc you can just set both colours the same, when I say aplicable I mean like for stripes down the side of things ect, not on everything or it might look odd, I didn't think 2cc would look good on my boat so I didn't add it.

To me I prefer company colors as you can change them to real life colors if you so wish and it's easy to distinguish ai's.

2cc is better imo.

When I think about it, 2cc might actually work.

Working on scale...this is a towboat with four barges. Scale works. Each barge is 240t, which came to 12 containers at 20t each. I didn't plan that in advance, but it works. Shinier pixels next I guess. Containers are from ISR, Sanchimaru's I think. FIRS will be GPL by the way.

Yes, if you want to use the sprites from the post(s) you linked, you have to ask for permission. It says that Permission [is] granted by the respective artists for use in 2CC Ship Set. That means they're not free to use for anyone, just for use in the 2CC Ship Set.

it'll be great if you provide different stages depending of the vessel's age
3 loading stage * n cargo types * 3 age stages = lot of work, but it'll be perfect set indeed.

If you know it's GPL and you use GPL for your set, then you can use it. But you have to meet both of those points. Strictly you probably need the same version of GPL, but I'm not 100% sure on that - there is a compatibility chart on the GPL site.

Nope. It would be *very* useful if it was. There would be two benefits:
1. visual improvement
2. it would be possible for a ship to carry more than one cargo. This would be highly appropriate, for example lots of cargo ships also carry a few passengers. Even without articulated ships, a hack of this in the same manner as aeroplanes would be useful (aeroplanes use the shadow sprite to carry a second cargo).

From previous questions to devs, articulated ships seem unlikely. If that's not true for any reason, I'd love to know.
