Well, OpenGFX is intended to be a bundle, and trying to track down each individual author in, say, 5 years time because you want to sell a mug seems to be a bit much. The decision needs to be made now. (Really, it should have been made before the project began, but it's a bit late for that now.)
I'm still firmly of the believe that we should go with a free licence, which does not prohibit commercial distribution. The GPL or CC-BY-SA 3.0 would seem to be sensible choices, if everybody can make up their mind which one is preferred.
