Now that I play with OpenTTD 32bpp extra zoom, I appreciate how beautiful these screenshots are.

32bpp is already in OpenTTD. If you want the extra zoom levels, you'll need to find the patch for it in the 32bpp graphics section.
To enable 32bpp graphics, add the line:
blitter = 32bpp-optimized
to your openttd.cfg, or alternatively, read the Wiki on how to enable them.

The straw bales in the fields look too higgledy-piggledy. In reality bales are churned out in straight lines, all pretty much parallel to each other.

As much as I like the looks of these images I'm going to be a pain in the arse to someone by pointing out some graphical errors that I spotted in Screenshot 33 I don't know if anyone already knew or anything but I'm just pointing it out.

it looks good imo, the only thing that bothers me are the looks of the trains, way shortend, they look stupid imo, like blocks on the tracks, but other then that its cool
and yeah #33 contains an error, its because the rendering is off for diagonal pieces i assume..

The platforms are 32bpp.. the beams - is there a 32bpp version of them available? Now that you mention it, I've seen it in one of the threads. But was it also coded?audigex wrote:Roujin - why no 32bpp station?
There's no mention of it on the 32 bpp extra zoom finished graphics wiki page. Nor on the one for non-extrazoom.
edit: sure enough, maquinista has them on his screens.. hmm, where are they hidden?

Thanks audigex for the hint, now I've got the 32bpp station too. Also, I now got the dutch catenary replacement and wotan's stations to work properly. Here's a screenshot with all three of those in:

Those trains look funny as they are so short. I think that the original 8 BPP looks better as it is not superdetailed, so you don't notice it easily. If those trains could be longer it would look much better! Otherwise set is great.

Hmm, I think the 32bpp screenshots look amazing. I love the additional attention to detail with the graphics.

That train is not 32bpp, as far as I can tell anyway. I love these screenshots, they feel a bit more in-game than most 32bpp does
