Is it possible to make electrified roads? And some trolleys, like Ziu-9 ?
Ziu-9
Because it would be nice, if you could have trolley buses, because in my country (Hungary) Budapest (the capitol), Debrecen and Szeged have trolleys like Ziu-9, Ikarus 280T, and some ©koda 14Tr i think.[/url]
well, wyctor was making electrified roads, dont know whether he still is...
I've done something but i've not been well for a while, plus been busy etc...

hmm, i made a road plugin...it means, that you have to build it on the roads, and electric wires will appear over the road. But there is a graphic problem, I made the graphics transparent, but thick black lines appear, when I build it. And there is (comelec.dat) a vehicle, which uses this road plugin. (Combi tram modded as a bus)

sorry for the doubleposting...
Does anybody know about a program, which can clone 147 files from one? all files are the same, but I dont want to brush all png-s in paint.

why would you want that? you could point every entry in the XML to the one file instead to 147 copies?

hmm, I'm not very good in graphics. is it all right, If i leave only one sprite "block" in the xml?
for example:
Code: Select all
<sprite id="20" xofs="1" yofs="4">
<bit name="hasdata">1</bit>
<bit name="chunked">1</bit>
<bit name="copy">0</bit>
<pngfile>roadtram\\000.png</pngfile>
</sprite>
and I delete all other "blocks"

no you must have all sprite-sets in the file. each sprite has a unique ID, in this case "20"..

Well Andel was heading in the right direction tobad he gave it up.
In my opion this is possible.
Plus if you use a tram track. You can do off roading if you deselect the electric wires.

Fun offroading!!!
See the resion no one ever completes these type of projects is because... everyone gets annoyed and stops. If someone who was patient finally did this I bet it could be done. Andel was probably the closest yet to completion.

lol that is what mine do. they off road quite well... i want to redo the mod with maybe 1 rail showing just so you can see where it goes, junctions are hard to lay. maybe change the one rail to blue or white?

Not given up - just a little busy (for example, I'm posting this from Birmingham New Street).

OH MY GOD!!! MON DIEU!!! I DID IT!!!!
ok...so...how does it work?
- you have to build it on the roads (but it can be built off the roads too)
- it has got reverse too (like tram tracks)
i'm waiting for trolley buses

Okay but yeah the offroad thing is because it's tram tracks and I do like what they do IRL. From the 1800's to about 1970 they've built trams on the roadways. Now they tend to make them off the road. So yeah since the tram tracks can do that I assume this can do this.
Anyway yeah I can bear with you. (Meaning no one post till he says he's back so SHHHH!!! Lol) Just kidding.
Anyway as for the Trolley Buses if you read the whole tread. He is using some of the already articulated buses. The low floor ones. (Sorry I have a bad time remembering names) But yeah it will be easyer just to use those and add trolley poles.
