and further I found the official (recovered) site of Den Oudsten, with technical specs. The bus I drew was similar to the B95 intercity.

Really good, now you have only to fix small mistakes and it would be ok. Let me point some of them (more detailed views would be done later)
1) the from player view has the same colour of the rear part, while thу / should have it darker
2) the horisontal view has the same side colours, as \ side view, while should have the colour of / view. that means it should be 1 tone ligther
3) the rear light is lost in \ view
4) there are green dots on the front part in diagonal views, but not in vertical. Also they are located differently in \ and / views.
5) have a look at windows colours. they are different in different views. Should be the tones of one colour for all the views.
p.s. Did you draw Den Oudsten "Alliance" 1989-2002?
p.s. Did you post a link to show you plans? What about Van Rooijen "Odyssee" 1982 and Den Oudsten "Standaard Streekbus" 1969-1988 going next?

I'm not positive but I think the city of The Hague has the longest history in organised bus services in The Netherlands. I found 2 sites about it with pictures and a history review:

Can't say I understand dutch - although people in other countries seem to mix up dutch and swedish

- but I definately enjoyed looking at the pictures.
Thanks for posting the links!

I'll try and find more details this week. Quite difficult actually, busses aren't as popular as trams/trains.

Nope, they aren't!

BTW, isn't Van Hool dutch? Or is it from Belgium?

Van Hool is belgium, but there are a lot Van Hools driving around in Holland. The main part of the Utrecht citybusses are Van Hool. They even have double articulated AGG300 driving around.

Okay, I'll fix those points. And this is indeed the Alliance 1989-2002.
Once this one is done, I'll redraw my first bus (Van Hool NewAG300 zuidtangent livery).

Yeah, those double articulated ones are really cool. They have them in Gothenburg, Sweden as well - although Volvo!

I've changed the lightfalls you (george) mentioned, and also adjusted the lightfall, but are the windows at the shadow side of the bus not 1 tint darker than those in the "sunny" side?, anyways, i've also fixed the lengt of the vertical view, and fixed the green spot on the front, when i looked at the picture, I saw that there was a small connexxion logo placed on the right side of the front (thats that green spot).

Not all of them

Yes, they should
nguwland wrote:anyways, i've also fixed the lengt of the vertical view, and fixed the green spot on the front, when i looked at the picture, I saw that there was a small connexxion logo placed on the right side of the front (thats that green spot).
I like the colour adgustment of the body, but the new windows colour looks unrealistic. The mauve colour, used in TTD, fits better, imho. Also some more pixel hunting is required.

I modded the Alliance a bit again, but I wonder, wich Windows look the best. I feel best about the windows in View 1.
further I made a dutch style busstop, so this bus don't have to stop in the middle of nowhere

I created an additional '70's waiting cabin which i am going to use at some rural platforms as well. You are free to use it as well and restyle it according to your needs.

I think they are all too bright. The ones on the photos look much darker. I vote for dark mauve colour
