Yeah, so I finally got off my lazy ass and started modelling, and here's the first version that actually resembles Thomas' face. All that's left is refining the lines and making the body. And rendering it, too.
Please give me your opinions on what needs to be better shaped. So far I've decided his nose and cheeks need to be a bit larger and more defined.

That's fantastic!
Well, I thought I'd help out a bit, and came out with this cheesy effort.

Hi, I'm new here, and I voted YYYAAAYYY!!!
I have the Thomas the Tank Engine game for the Sega Genesis, which I actually bought specifically just so I could have a video model train set, so a TTE mod for Locomotion would be very nice! Too bad you can't just hack all the car graphics out of the Genesis game and hack them into LM!
BTW, I do have a little modding experience, with the Ultimate Ride series, if any of you play those games, but I just got Locomotion, so I don't even know how to play it yet, much less how to try modding it. Hopefully I can learn how to do something useful with it, but I can't make any 3D models to save my life, mostly all I can do is texture mods and file hacking, and I don't know any coding languages either, so I can't hack very much either.
Great ideas though, glad I'm not alone here!

I remember in a few episodes he would travel in a passenger carrage.

Yay, so I finally finished Thomas! I'll upload him later, cos I'm at a friends atm (he's a 3DS Max guru so Thomas is looking real good right now =)
I've also made good progress on Bertie, and I might put up a screenie later when I feel he is presentable.

You work on anything you like to work on... so if I get bored on one set, and like to work on another, nothing can stop me

I know nothing cant stop you... but its poor business, to just keep starting a new mod and not finnishing the one at the start.
Who here is ungreatful??, I dont see any-one being ungreatful. Every-one here likes the mods that every-one makes, and post them here.
If you read Stylpe last post,
Gosh, I actually feel a little sorry to say this now, but aprils fools Twisted Evil
But after those two praise posts, I might actually finish this after all Wink
Meaning at first he was'nt going to finnish it... DERRR..
(P.S. I fixed up most of my spelling and gramma, to keep you people, mainly tenacioustheforesaken happy)

um? i think you'll find that it was scrat giving you a hard time over that and not me.
and whats this about bad business? these are all freeware sets

im a tad confused. the people here work hard on what they do, but they arnt and cant be expected to sit around all day and draw.
as far as i known, known of these people get paid for what they do, so if they get bored of one set, they are allowwed to do what they want, if thats starting a new set or taking a break, whatever, its up to them.
