Wood chips: 8-10 million BTUs per ton of carbon-neutral, 100% renewable fuel. An acre of forest will produce one ton of biomass per year- forever. Oh, and lumber mills can make "chipboard" out of them.

Nope, not just this, eGRVTS has this problem too with firs, if it was after 1970's and the wood went to a paper mill then you could just pretend that your delivering wood chips in a hopper. As for sending wood to a saw mill I prefer a flat bed truck to transport logs.

Found a new agricultural tractor to include in HEQS :)

8 wheels, 600HP, 25mph. Carries 12.5t on the rear load platform, but I'll chain it up with multiple trailers for a rather larger total weight :)

Dunno when it will get done, but at TTD scale it looks like the articulated crawler but with wheels so not a big job. Working on FIRS at the moment though :)

Sorry I couldn't find the dev thread so I'll post this here, just a suggestion, a while back I remember you talking about adding a new road type, 'dirt track' that was cheep and only HEQS vehicles could go on it, I'm not 100% sure, but now there's additional rail type computability in OTTD such as in nuTracks, I think it should be possible to add a new road type too.

No, it is not, but it is likely that it will be included at some point. At least petern has a roadtypes project as well.

Also a few other minor tweaks will be in 0.7, including:
- realistic acceleration for road vehicles is now in OTTD trunk, HEQS vehicles support this cool new feature.

Holy cow! I was just thinking the other day about how there are a lot of conditions where it would be nice to have a fairly small scale train that can make small runs between a mine and a depot. This is going to be quite a set!

Trams looks great on corners with their tiny wagons!
But there is one problem - industrial trams carry milk, oil, livestock and everything else in hoppers.

I think I found another glitch:
The cattle transporter cages are flashing with water colors, is this intentional?

yes cant you see its their water to drink while in transport...

or cant you see that they are water-living creatures that are transported in water:P

Cargo trams? Awesome! BULK cargo trams, that is! Not the mail and goods only ones in the eGRVTS. Or the tiny, slow ones in the German road vehicle set.

So you can download nightly HEQS. Is is working perfectly (but without proper graphics for liquid and other special cargos.)

I largely use HEQS for feeder systems, one of them can be seen on the pic.

And I also love this set, and looking foward to the next release. I hope there will be some trucks that support liquid and farm cargoes. :roll:
