All these great pictures have made me feel really guilty about not having the time and not getting on with the US Set. It will get finished sometime, I promise... (and maybe I'll be able to play some TTD myself then
You are making the u.s. set? :o Hurry up.[/quote]

I tend to sort of have an idea of which lines might end up being upgraded to four tracks or whatever when I build them, but the reality of how industries and towns evolve usually doesn't match that! Most of my major junctions often get rebuilt a few times as I think of better ways to do them.

Thats rude and will not get the set done any faster. Please do not tell someone doing unpaid work in their spare time to "hurry up". It offends me, 'cause I see the hard work, and I see people who don't appreciate the effort.

A morning at Ravensmüster

A morning at Ravensmüster..

It's 05:30, time to wake up for Ravensmüster Steel Factory personnel. Day starts pretty early for them. The factory has been recently invested by a joint-venture of the bigger investors of the region. Yet it's not pretty busy, so the workers don't have nightshifts. Daily work ends at 17:30pm
and starts at 06:00am.

The first train arrives from Pfungbrück carrying workers, engineers, drivers and technicians for the factory. They'll be met by the first double-decker bus arriving at the Grand Central bus stop at 05:30am. Another local bus arrives at Rural bus stop at 05:25am and picks up workers. These buses travel to Ravensmüster Downtown Station to drop their passengers at 05:40am. Factory staff are then picked by 2 of the service buses owned by the factory administration. Buses arrive at the factory by 05:55. There's a lot of work for today. Steel delivery is to be made to local construction areas in the town. Population is increasing!

There'll also be a meeting held by the managing director. The main subject is expanding the facilites and employing more people for a nightshift to increase production to meet the increasing demand for steel products.

Well aint posted anything in a while so heres a shot from my new game on the 2 island scenario.

Not much to it. The sunken lines are for passenger traffic avoiding Sundhatten Springs heading for Fort Balder, The line to the right of the factory is coming from Sundhatten Springs. Also the 2 raised lines without signals in the bottom right are for the new dedicated line to the northen island.

Hi lads,

I'd like to share this screenie with you. It's from the area where my only Steel-plant, only Factory and the only Saw-mill of the map is. As you can imagine, it became a pretty busy area during the years.

(P.S. the canal-grafics are fixed in the meantime).

enjoy...

I can't make out any of the detail. I can't see what units are being used, or what lines are going where, or what half the stations are called. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't use JPEG compression for what is essentially an 8-bit screenshot. ;)
