Dunnow, I think I'tl be long work before all bridges are finished so I guess another person should work on something. I don't see much completed work on this topic.

Making good graphics is really hard. I've tried before and I just don't seem to have the eye or the coordination for it.
There were some other people that had started to work on graphics though, back in the postings. Like for the landscape. Nobody wanted to work on the trains yet, which is funny since you'd think those would be the most fun.

Trains are even smaller than the bridges they drive on so that will be real difficult!

I wonder if we couold ask M.Blunk to help with that department??? Probably not, cause he wants to finish the DB set and make the Sub- Tropical set. Perhpas one day he will make an Asia set, and an Australian set

:D:D

Well, M.Blunk seems to be quite sensitive to people appropriating his work and tinkering with it. If it weren't for that, some of his trains would be very good to start from. For instance, the ICE train looks quite a lot like the Shinkansens, they could all probably start from that base. And many of the electric engines could come from the existing engines, with some repainting as appropriate.

Copying his work would be a bad idea indeed, better develop new ones

We are all very grateful for the vast amounts of time that so many people have put into all of the upgrades for TTD. However, I must say that one of the best aspects of this is the "communal" nature of the work. We all know perfectly well that Josef is due 99.99% of the honor of the Patch. But he doesn't mind if someone makes minor adjustments to it, or even adds a whole new relevant feature such as the TTD Patch Starter. It is somewhat sad that not everyone feels this way. But everyone has the right to control their own work, particularly when they aren't paid for it.

DINGES:
Just so you know, there is a JavaScript error in your site that prevents it from being viewed in Netscape. It works fine in Explorer.

That can't be
There isn't ANY Javacript on my site. or maybe the bar below my site is the problem, if that's it I can report it to the banner advertiser if you give me the error.

Yes, I think it is the fearsomely annoying banners. That's why I put the East Asia site on server space I own.
I cannot seem to get you the error for some reason. But when you view your page in Netscape 4.75, all you get is the banner, the rest of the screen is blank. It works fine in IE.

That's strange becouse it are just two frames.

look:
Code: Select all
if (self != top.moerstaal_frame) {
top.location.href = '../index.php3';
}
In my opinion this script changes the mainframe in Netscape into banner. Am I wrong?
