Ah well, we'll still get to look at them in any screen shots you post - That's good enough for me :)

I agree, he really does need to cut his hair. It is unusually shiny for his gender.

And damn right I would use an Aussie pack. Most of the diesels here are EMD and GE products anyway.

Interesting map you got going on there nicholas! To me the long bridges don't look overly attractive but hey... who am I to tell you what to do with your games

Lately I've been playing a modified version of Stepping Stones, a default scenario. I use most of the steam locomotives in the US megapack and a few F7s/GP9s, it has been very entertaining, there has always been something to do. Initially it was quite difficult to make enough money, as the construction of the main line required many tunnels and cuttings, you just have to keep asking for money from the bank. I find that use lomotrainer kinda cuts out the challenge so I didn't use it.

I like to imagine it as being set between 1954-1958, most of the rollingstock is 34ft hoppers and most of the motive power is steam hauled. Diesels are beginning to emerge, however.

Hay guys, some screenshots from my latest creation, location of interest here is Headinghatten. This town is a massive rail-hub where every mainline/branch passes through it. Easily the busiest place on the map for through traffic. New Brownhatten's termini being the busiest place in total.

An express passes through a young Headinghattan, at the time the fastest train on the map.

Slightly later on, about 10 years, a local can be seen passing over the fast and freight/stopping mainlines.

A little later still, a double headed express passes through Headinghattan in about 1920. Engines were getting more powerful and trains were getting longer and faster.

Very late on, in 1982, a Q1 that I have forgotten to replace gets spotted coming out of Knockworth station, another busy place for trains. The APT is on the same mainline as the other steamers from earlier.

Another late survivor, this time in 1979. I let this N2 tank carry on its business. Can't really speed up a 50mph cattle service that much. I did however replace it in 1987 with a Class 58 when I standardised the whole livestock route for more traffic.

Back in time we go to 1955, where 3 trains race toward New Brownhattan's termini. The King is running a 13 coach train on the fast main. The Brittania is on a 7 coach shuttle service and the little S15 is struggling with its full 8 coach load after cresting a hill.

Finaly some time to play The Lake District :D
For a change i decided to play with the original stock, started to build from Deltona paper factory to Mascote Forrest, a singel line with at each end a six tile station, could deploy 6 cars behind my first train, after that i slowly extended my line, first made sidings, deployed a second train, extended the station at Deltona, and slowly made the line double track, build a second load station at Mascote forrest, deployed two trains there, payed back my loan and expanded the track to the second Mascote forrest.
