Indeed. But there are major differences. De cab of the G1206 is shorter and it has some grills on other places than the 6400. Also the 6400 is diesel electric and the G1206 diesel hydraulic.

For one who does not know they're two different kinds of those shaped engines they look identical.

In general, AFAIK, 6400's are only used by Raillion and RailPro, G1206 are used for all other transporters like Veolia, ACTS, Rail4Chem, ERS, and probably a few others too.

The RailPro livery doesn't mean it's owned by RailPro, BTW. They're still owned by Railion and they are also used for other trains. It's similar to the situation of orange Koplopers for NOC*NSF: to make clear two company's have some kind of cooperation with eachother.

Have the efforts to include Wile's cargo waggons been succesful yet? (Not wanting to rush, of course, but just to keep up with developments.)

It kinda died, but we have found someone willing to continue coding. I just need to ask him how things are going. :))

Yep, that's me. Just getting started... It's a lot of work, I can imagine why the project kind of died. I hope I can report good news soon!

Good to hear the doctors are doing their work to keep the set alive!

But the screenshots in the topic, they were not mock-ups, were they?

The recent screenshots were absolutely 100% real. Not a single pixel was edited.

Well, I have seen some screenshots since from a LAN-party, which were rather convincing, Hoontje. But I've also read someone else has taken over coding, so we'll be patient for a while.

The screenshots from the LAN party in the screenshot forum (Dutch trains topic) were absolutely 100% real too.

Indeed, someone else has taken over coding, and is continuing to develop the code we already had.

In the screenshots I saw some glitches, like the ICM that seems to have its first 'head' slightly misaligned with the rest of the train, and in the multi-1600 train the locomotives seem to be touching each other. Is this temporary, or is this the 'final' coding?

Another thing is the souds I mentioned before. Any chance of trains making sounds like in the UKRS?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the final release. My compliments for getting so far!

The ICM should be fixed by now, and properly alligned. The 1600 issue will remain.

Eventually perhaps...

Thanks. Credits go to the whole team of course.

i'm looking into that. but let's first await a general first, proper release. adding sounds is a lot of work.

just have patience. this set'll, eventually, get there. ;)
