i played transporttycoon since more than 7-8 years.. so now only the building makes fun.. and most fun is to build big tracks, crossings, stations etc..
this is my first big crossing, with the station.. the problem was here the depots.. that was very.. ... ~90trains drive only to this station.. it is TTDX with patch version, the tracks are maglevs, but it is better to build with monorails..

the next screens are all from my first oppenttd game...
i think that is my best crossing (i used 3 of them in the map...) (in the new bigger-maps this ring has 2 more lines... ->4 next to each other..)
http://www.stilletraene.de/openttd/v2.png
the west entrace to the main-station in the east of the crossing from the top

the center of the town, with the tunnels and the s*** bridge, which i can't destroy (i build it in the scenario editor..)
http://www.stilletraene.de/openttd/v4.png
and the east entrance to the mainstation, with a small station before..

i hope you like it...

Hey!
Here are some screenshots of our last #openttdcoop (freenode) game. Players were: Expresso, Guru3, ShaggZ and me. Not the largest game we played but someone has to start posting pictures of our games

. This game tended to focus on city-growing.

My game:
A [small] part of the map [6x11]:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~eavdmeer/Drundham ... 202034.png
A small jam

[the new global pathfinding still has a lot of issues]
http://www.xs4all.nl/~eavdmeer/Drundham ... 202012.png
One of the "main" stations:
145 trains delivering grain/livestock/steel/wood/oil and 80 trains picking up goods, but 80 goods-trains isn't enough yet. This station can handle a lot more traffic, but the main tracks can't seem to supply enough
http://www.xs4all.nl/~eavdmeer/Drundham ... 202034.png
Theres over 300 trains running on this 1 track, and i think i'm about to hit the 2 track limit, especially the on-ramps/off-ramps can slow down a train too much.

I have some screenshots... these are all of a single game.
The network was produced by me and a friend.
Everything in this game should be connected.

So why bother posting to tell us that?

Constructive criticism in this thread, please.

I recently discovered openttd, and I need to say it is great. Here are some screenshots from my second game. I used 2x2 track with interconnections I saw on presignals wiki page on most busy part of rail network.

Here are some pics from my latest game:
I was *very* lazy in this, I built only about 40 trains and some buses for the towns, so I had time to experiment with T-Junctions designs.
I particulary like junction3 -- it has no 90 degrees turns, so with realistic acceleration turned on, almost all trains cross it at full speed.
Enjoy:

Man I love that junction and I'm using that first one a lot now. Great idea!
Here's some pics of my game at the moment. I had an oil one going but then I fubared it on purpose and such to create the "Fix this stuffs"
So heres the Fruit n' Food game of mine.... I hope you like the massive setup around the main station.
