Nice

But what happened with some vehicles what can be seen on the first some pages?
I think the articulated dump truck, Nodwell, Chieftan, etc. here. As i can see they were drawn largely, just need coding.
Edit:
The Red Peak articulated crawler is based on the
Case IH Quadtrac?

Patience grasshopper

Those vehicles only had one angle drawn. Unfortunately I need to draw another seven angles, plus *many* more sprites for different loads.
Yep. Which means I could include the wheeled version as well, but no promises. I also considered a Cat Challenger rubber tracked crawler, but it will look almost the same as the 6 at TT scale, and really I think there are quite *enough* crawler tractors (although I do have a couple more planned for 1900-1937)

Read through Neko's narrow gauge thread - it's three pages and contains links to guides on making grfs. You'll also see how Neko learnt to make a grf (mostly)

. You're going to find you have similar problems / challenges.
http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=43952
Also, this is the documentation for grfs.
http://wiki.ttdpatch.net/tiki-index.php ... phicsSpecs
Purno's guide is useful:
http://users.tt-forums.net/purno/PDT/re ... index.html
Start with one simple vehicle, *not* one that requires articulation or complicated features. You'll need a painting programme and a text editor.
If you have more questions please start your own thread, this one is for HEQS, thanks.

Ideally you'd want to use NewObjects for that (Action 0 Feature 15) but unfortunately that's currently not supported by OpenTTD. Someone else did some highway signs recently, sacrificing monorail, maglev and trams for it. Here's the topic:

ok thanks foobar the signs could be useful cuz i cant use trams monorails or maglevs fer some odd reason

Possibly because you have a trainset loaded without monorail or maglev engines and that you don't have a tramset loaded.

Hi again!
I think I found a little glitch at the newest version of the set.
The Speedytrac and the Super Speedytrac runs at the same speed, but in the earlier versions the Super is goes faster. Or is this purpose?

Well spotted. This is intentional. The Super Speedytrac was just too fast for the a tractor. In a future release, I will give it a capacity increase so it hauls a little more than the normal Speedytrac. Otherwise I guess it would be kind of pointless

sorry for OT:
you could use stations tho... a "cannot entry tiles" should be quite nice... and with a ctrl-click it can attach to a station about 64 tiles away

HEQS nightly build r129 includes support for Sand cargo from FIRS, and a few other bits and pieces, mostly things you won't see to do with code cleanup. Should be saved game compatible with v0.5x.
Nightly builds are linked from first page of this thread

Tip of the day: don't bother drawing trucks with cabs that are off-centre

Sounds tricky, what are you working on?

Logging truck.

Has a bit of an easter egg in the loaded / unloaded states

Based on Hayes / Pacific / Mack logging trucks from the Pacific Northwest

The off-centre cab was probably far more trouble than it was worth, but hey it's done now.
This is in the HEQS repo now for those who want to build their own; I'll release a new compiled grf soon.

The truck looks quite neat

Concerning "release soon": isn't that what the build of the nightly is done for automatically?
