The good thing is that you get used to shorter trains again, but 50x50 is still a bit small, maybe 80x80 could be an optimal size for some more interesting layouts.

Trees can help a lot to beautify maps and towns. I would prefer trees without winter seasons that wouldn't be dying off anymore, but never tried to play around with the code of trees.
I tried to build another very small map which is better than the last one. :-)

Those trees! I looks so much better that way. It really annoys me that the game erases almost all trees from existence. Maybe I should go get planting too. But then I first should finally make a game that I like to play, and I'm sick of hassling with XML to make everything as I wish, it takes too much time.

There must be a way to make the trees stay in the game in the tree's .XML files.

How come your resolution is higher than 1280x1024?

For The Serpent i have set 990 forrests and 20000 individual trees:

My new Serpent game is at the year 2142 now and virtualy all trees are gone, only a few on the mountains and the grain farms are left.

Just like everyone experiences. Maybe it's something written in the .exe, because it affects all trees, not just some types. Stupid game.
