Porbable need to do a few different dirt shoulders to match the Climate your playing. Also have to allow for those countries that drive on wrong side of road :D

Should they include some trees or shrub for those making a pit stop. :D How often people out driving and the can not wait till they reach the next toilets :D

Made some Rest Areas to go in the "Road Side Objects" menu.


They all overlap by about 4 pixels on to the edge of roads.
As can see by images there is gravel and dirt Rest Areas.

There are 8 sections.
1 & 2 Has 5 pieces NO trees.
3 & 4 Has 5 pieces with trees.
5 & 6 Has 9 pieces with Trees and Vehicles for UK Roads.
7 & 8 Has 9 pieces with Trees and vehicles for US Roads.

Wonder if need any with Vehicles but NO trees :?:

Any one like to test it for me and see if like. :?:

But even still, this is absolutely fabulous at making highway intersections! diagonal roads! wow!

If i suggest, i would add 45° roads for smoother transitions

That middle piece I got it aligned wrong :oops: Thanks for showing me. Will fix it as soon as I can.

The hardest part making this for the game people use them different to how I intended :D Those angle pieces just meant to go to a Vehicle Inspection Station.

But what you have shown in your image I should be able to make that connection look a bit better.

Its certainly quite good, and i think i know how they could be placed to still work as roads;
you could make them overlap the tile next to them so that someone could make a road like this:

Problem with that is that vehicles will be capable of using it, thats true, but they will sverve all over the road which will not only look bad but will also slow them down a lot. Not to mention it will look good just with roads of same texture. :?

The hardest part making this for the game people use them different to how I intended :D
not to mention they can also be used as turning lanes and with quast's road mod adding asphalt, you can make massive intersections :o

Also upload updated AuzRoadObjectsV12 fix those few problems "Mrsunman " mentioned.

Early today I put arrows on the entrances and exits roads for both UK and US. I thought I saved them just before my computer complained of memory problem and the graphics program closed down. Although it said it saved it but seems like it did not cause the US roads was not in V11 as it should had been. So had to do the US set again and re-code.

So hope V12 will work properly. If any one finds any more faults let me know, but I might not get a chance to repair it till Friday as busy with personal things Ninday through to Thursday.

Because I originally designed them for the Heavy Vehicle Inspections Stations I put them in "Road Side Objects".

That the hard part of making things for the game people also find away to use them in other places.

So maybe I should move them to the "Fake Roads Lanes" sections :?:

But no coding today .. I going train riding and train watching.

Just remembered .. I will need to put a copy of those road pieces in "Fake Roads Lanes" because I have some road signs and vehicles to add to those in the ""Road Side Objects". Will work on those later in week. But for now I better go as bus comes to take me to train station in 15 minutes time.

Heavy Vehicle Inspections Stations Update.

Did get to go train riding today as when went to get the bus found out it got cancelled and next bus be another 2 hours, so I came home and worked on this project.

Update:
* Added lights and signs. (They need some changing as when tested them signs and lights need spacing apart more).

To be done:
1. Need more of these single lane roads with and with out signs and maybe a few heavy vehicle.
2. Fix this junction.
3 & 4. Add lights to these Pieces.
(Also add lights to the junction that I forgot to mark as 5).

Yet to do:
Parking area for heavy vehicle and employees cars.

Might get chance to do some more tomorrow (Tuesday).
