Whilst I remember, a while back I made these graphics (attached), I can't remember who but someone suggested they may be of use in OpenGFX, so here they are, I've looked over them to make sure they are good and shiny and are ready to use, I don't know what you would use them for, Toyland boats, the early passenger ferry, both?
Anyways have fun with your new boat graphics contribution

Hmm.. Good that you like :D
What about this then? Anyone up for cutting/coding?

I know the last castle lacks some pixels from right edge, a simple copy paste should do it :D

Nice Job there, can't wait to see it in-game.

The 1st level is a little too small imo. It looks more like a round Toi Toi than a castle

Maybe you could shift the stages by one to the left and add one extra stage (maybe the current last stage with moat).

First two stages have to fit to the four tiles. I don't like it myself very much either tbh, but let it be like that at the moment.

Planetmaker, go ahead and code this one, it's nicely cut :)

The toyland company HQ ingame in all sizes (yes, it needs still palette conversion)

hmmm...maybe make it so that the hq has a small fence around it in the first 2 stages so players can easily distinguish the 4 tile box, maybe use the fences from the original GFX train tracks?

I've done some work on the mail car, I'm not shure it may be similar to how it started again now (/ and \ views), I'll need some oppionons on that.

Also attached is my newest version of the passenger car and toy truck, neither are perfect in my oppinion, but I'd like to see what everyone thinks so far.

Hm, I think the PAX car could use some kind of windows also on the / \ views (= slightly differently shaded pixels), maybe also a bit clearer windows in the -- view.

I'm fine with either mail car. Concerning the toy car... it sure looks funny to have parcel-style wagons :-) Hm... not sure whether it's a good idea: maybe it's an option to give them the pattern of the wrappings of the houses?

cheers,
pm

That, or having a few scrap toys laying around at the other tiles. Since we are in toyland, the backyard should contain scrap toys. Right?

That is indeed a nice idea, too :-)

I agree with the toys. And with later HQs, they could be replaced by ones in better condition, or more expensive. Good idea?

Mabe with the first 3 stages I think it would be too clutted in the last 2 stages, (It's such a big castle they can fit their toys inside ayways  )

Very true, and I agree with that as well. So, I therefore propose this:

HQ v1: Small toy cars, maybe a bucket and spade, something like that. Some would be broken, perhaps. Sweet wrappers?

HQ v2: Bigger toy cars, perhaps a football or something like that, or a tennis racket.

HQ v3: Remote-controlled toys, bigger than in HQ v2.

HQ v4-5: None external, as they are all inside the castle.

Is that a good idea?
