A couple of pics of the Tatra Electric Railways depot from my short holidays in the mountains.

I accidentally bumped into the guys from Veteran Club Poprad, who take care of the historical units on the TEZ. They're very cool guys and their enthusiasm is astonishing - the next month, in their vacation time - they'll be starting to repair one of the 420.95 units into working order. Two more 420.95 units will be used for spare parts.

Couple of months ago, they gave the 49.0001 unit a new coat of paint and it looks definitely stunning. After the 420.95 is running again, the 49.0001 will receive new motors and will become a running historical unit as well. All in all, this could take 4 years till they're there. And I thought my models took long...

A couple more.

The 49.0005 service unit is being used for storage for now and it looks quite sorry. But after the 49.0001 and 420.95, this one could be the next on the list to be fixed back up into the class 49.0002 passenger unit shape. I wish I could help those guys somehow with their tasks, but not being on the spot, there's not much I can do. I was thinking about starting a donation fund, but in today's times when funds are scarce for everyone I'm not sure this would work.

oh the update is all prepared, just didn't find the time to do the readme and package it. i was actually thinking about releasing all my updates at once during christmas. there's some new stuff as well for the metro and gtw packs. and of course i hope to find time around christmas for the 15T tram for lftrams.

if you want the update, i can send you the DATs to test.

here's what'll be new:

405 - bogies + fixed power
49.0001 + blm/u green - fixed white roof
GGB - bogies + fixed power + fixed pantos
red 49.0001 + blm/u - designed in 1954
darken shadow sides of stations and overall visual improvement
trackbld.dat

I've heard the odd thing.. Sorry, Uni stuff kind of took over. Once I can return home and pick up my LoMo disc, I'll be able to give it another crack. Feel free to send anything my way as long as it doesn't need the game, at least for the next fortnight.

easy, i didn't have much (any) time for loco as well. whenever you find time to have a look at that scenario. i haven't started the MGB train either...

the track fits in perfectly, allowing for some nice station designs

Although I don't think the nature reservation people would allow such concrete jungles to be built in the mountains. But in Poprad as you have it, yes, they have no problems with that.

Have fun and as I said, I'll be officially releasing it with some more of my stuff later in the year. Btw, you know you can blow up the construction worker?

well it's unreleased stuff from summer, since then I only worked on my animated short. i'll come back to loco during christmas. you doing anything? i'm not visiting fanpage so no idea if there's anything going on. but i guess you're occupied with your daughter more than enough.
