Well it seems to work for me, so I always build that way, sometimed when the rails get really busy I will expand the two way rails with two-two way rails in areas where it is needed (Assuming I have the room to do so).
How do you expand your towns?

What i saw on the picture was that this is a RoRo station, the train goes to the upper part of the station, goes in, and comes out.
In my point of view, the inflow part should be attached to the lower part, so the goods will arrive earlyer.
On this station, what was attached, the train always have to go around, because of the one-way signals, so it doesnt matter, if the train could turn around in the station.
or am i completely misunderstanding you?
you can't use single signals, since that breaks the presignalling.

Sorry then about the images, as for your comment, I have no clue what your talking about. Are you saying looking at roads is no fun? What do you want to see?

If you want to see anything inparticular, i'd be glad to show you.

To be honest, I think the roads add a real aspect the the game. Where i'm from there are roads every 1 mile and sometimes every quarter mile out in the country, so the fact there are roads all over add to making the game all that more realistic.
Plus it helps grow the cities.

Utrecht station is cool. For half a year I went through that for my work/school. There is always a lot of trains and sometimes those very verrrryyyy loooong freighttrains will pass through the station

looks you got the feeling. IMHO try to work on your junctions, try to avoid direct junctions (like X type), and make them more complex.
In addition try to make clearer main lines, as i see you have some lines, like on of the pics there was three lines in the middle, why dont you combine?
please dont take it as an offense, i just try to help.

Same system, but now in 1965 (started in 1940). The four-lane in the center once functioned as the main line, but congestion got so bad that I built a bypass in the south (the "Schellendorf Skyway") to route traffic away from Eisenkirchen am Ziller. I probably ought to rebuild the whole area.
