I have all 4 of those released(some of those were payware models by the way), a mostly complete US/Canadian Alco collection, a complete candaian shop built alco knock off set, some canadian comfort cab EMD's and SD40-2m converted, possibly released all by Jan Henning Gettkant Of Nickel Belt Railway. He sent me his entire MSTS collection including the payware models.

No worries, i am pretty sure i havent done any of them. Great to see you back BTW, here is a shot of the entire set i have produced. Anything you have done i will gladly ommit. (The 4-8-4 is animated but doesnt show up very well as it is LQ due to blue haze problems in PS)

I see a few things there i know i did like the heavy pullmans and a few disels, If i actually released them or they in the pack i had in beta i dont remember.. also several i had rights to amd wanted to release but was just to busy. a few dupes wont kill us. You put the work in go ahead and publish it. it would take me a week to figgure out what i did. I know i converted most everything by jan and dick cowen one weekend i just need to find them. it would be nice to see your stats. and sizes compaired to mine.

i spent several days and made huge lists of equipment from 1890-2040? and figgered out speed vs price vs reliability vs hp basied on game stats, real life, and the ingame equipment for what would be the best fit in the game and not be a cheat.. i know that sounds wierd..

but a few examples. when the 40 to 50 foot to high cubes box cars. they dont got a lot faster and hold 10 times as much. just a little faster and a few more items. there is no huge reason to sell them all off the day they are relesed (mostly for new slightly faster top speed). another example is that there is not say one loco that is is more reliable with a LOT more HP for the same price. my big blows were a good example. more HP for other diesels of its time. but it cost a LOT more and had somewhat poor reliability (pretty true actually). also it would be bad to have a 90mph train in 1904. also i know a 150 ton hopper should hold 150ton but it does not work in game. i tried that, you get a really heavy train that is hard to move and is a lot more then what the game hopper can haul. I guess i tried to stay as true to the default game as possible and mix in new graphics while keeping somewhat real stats...

anyways it looks good. i would not mind taking a look at them before andel gets his lazy butt out of bed .. (sucks u are sick) and give you some feedback.

I resized my files by a 1.1 height, 0.917 (dont know why) length and left the width alone, i tried to make them fit together with yours as much as possible.

Andel: just 'Older US Freight and Passenger Stock 2.1' will do :P

wow really cool stuff ... i like thos big grain hoppers und thos trucktrailerthingy ;)

the only thing i dont like ... are you using the real values of the locos und rolling stock ?

there i like plasticmans stuff, because he chosed som "rounder" values for his vehicles ...

for example your grainhopper ... more then 2 doesnt make sense, becaus a farm will never raise the production ...

but really cool models :)
