Doesn't need to be deleted, you can also just turn it off in the game options.

I think Planeset 1.5 is close to release.
However, before it can be released, the following things need/want to be dealt with:
- The strings " (solid)", " (liquid)", " (S)", " (L)", and " (H)". Should they be translated, and if so, to what?
- Cargo capacities. I absolutely refuse to cripple the capacities with arbitrary factors. Well calculated factors are an entirely different matter, so I'll run some numbers on the Ruslan. It has a cargo capacity of ~1027.8 m^3[2] or 150 tons[3][0]. Fertilizer weighs 961 kg/m^3[1], meaning that it is possible to pack over 950 tons of fertilizer into a Ruslan. Balsa wood, one of the lightest non-gaseous cargoes on that list (at 170 kg/m^3), can still weigh a Ruslan down 25 tons past its capacity. Over 2500 tons (Yes, that is two thousand five hundred tons) of glass can fit inside a Ruslan, but good luck getting that off the ground.
I see no particular reason to believe any other plane/cargo pair would be any different, but anyone who is so inclined is welcome to hunt down the relevant statistics and cite them at me, and I'll adjust the capacities, if necessary. The one possible exception to this is livestock.
- Liveries, Liveries, Liveries. Basically, I'm accepting any liveries, but I would prefer that planes with only CC liveries be repainted first. At some point I will close 1.5 to new liveries, but that point has not come yet.
- Solid/liquid refits. Currently the only cargo that is elgible for transport as either a solid or a liquid is goods. Which other cargos, if any, should allow both?
[0] For now, I'm going to deem that these are metric tons, not that that makes a major difference here.

Thanks DaleStan.
On my PC planesetw.grf does work, OTTD r4415, winXPSP2.
I've planesetw_459.grf v1.2 and it changes (all) the planes. But cargo options stay the same. It's the only additional GRF file loaded. I'm probably missing out on something here.
Also tried it on my other PC, OTTD v0.4.0.1. Planesetw.grf changed almost all the graphics to Concorde (nice with a chopper looking like a Concorde). Planesetw_459.grf worked OK on the graphics. But none of them changed cargo options.
Thanks again for your effort.

Please don't double post.

The 459 remix AKA Planeset OTTD is an old spinoff from Planeset that intentionally lacks any advanced coding features in order to facilitate the set flawlessly with OpenTTD 0.3.5 (the latest release at that time).
Planeset main releases I built (up to 1.0) were built and tested only with TTDPatch so OpenTTD is not supported. I don't have any idea whether the latest Planeset works with latest OpenTTD. Assuming it doesn't, please stick to Planeset OTTD when playing OpenTTD!

it works in ottd if you have the planeset patch

Planeset patch what? I just tried Planeset versions OTTD, 1.0 and 1.2 with vanilla OpenTTD 0.4.7. OTTD version loaded normally while versions 1.0 and 1.2 of Planeset didn't make any planes at all appear.

you can get it from the ottd development forum

I see, recent development.

Hope we'll see Planeset 1.2 working in next official OpenTTD version. Thus the old remix could be superceded.

If there as an OTTD version, or a patch to make it work with OTTD, please point me to it and I can put it on the Planeset download site.

I have noticed a small bug that you may want to correct before the next release of Planeset. The Chinook shown in the screenshot uses the flashing red colour in its cargo sling. I presume this is not intentional as it only occurs when flying in certain directions. It actually looks quite weird, maybe the cargo is radioactive?

Yes, I had noticed that, but I'd forgotten. Thanks for reminding me.

Perhaps I missed this aspect mentioned in this thread. But have the planes in this set purposely been designed to be single cargo only? That is, passengers and passengers only instead of passengers and some mail? As my one game slowly expands and I establish and expand my airline fleet, I noticed the planes appear in the purchase list as max passenger, max mail. Yet in the game, the planes carry passengers only. The airports are not stock-piled with mail since it was not triggered.
Patch version - Beta #03
Planeset version 1.20
Included ttdpatch.cfg if needed.

I believe that is a TTDPatch bug.
I haven't experienced it myself, but try refitting the plane back to Passengers. I've heard that that helps.
EDIT: If you can post a savegame from just before you build a plane with no pax capacity, that may help debug the problem.

i just thought id let anyone here who doesnt read the ottd development forum, that petr1138 has been adding bits of the ottd planeset patch to the trunk. At the moment i think its just custom helicopter rotors.

Didn't the Patch already have that? I'm pretty sure it does, as the current TTD Planeset offers different rotors for different sorts of helicopters.

Yes, but peter1138 is making it official, so its in the nightlies and you dont need to apply the patch for custom helicopter rotors anymore.
