perter1138: If you make it avaliable to have more bales, fields sprites or whatever I will be happy to work on the graphics. I am currently just modelling to replace, rather than make additonal things though.
TagDaze: Ive got a picket fence modelled, and some walls if you want them, although where you inplying you already had some meshes?. Either way, I think a picket fence may be good.
Field-mouse: There straw bales. The ones you see rapped in white are hay bales I suspect. I'll experiement with 1 bale less, and a few other ways, and see what works out.
athanasios: Extra stages would involve coding, Im just replacing existing ones. Tiles 2 and 3 are the same green, the crop is just a different height. I based the differences on the tiles in 'time' rather than 'height'. Crops shoot up quickly to startwith, hence the large step between. Addional tiles would be cool though eventually.

I'd have to model the picket fence... It wouldn't be a problem, but if you already have something done, it saves me some work and it helps the uniformity. So if it's in 3dsmax format, yes please.
Athanasios... It's the lighting, but I'll see what I can do.

Ahh I see.. I dont really know what "straw" means, other then the "stem" of whatever plant.. or the tool for drinking... Anyways, if its not hay it makes perfect sense why I felt confused.
Its looking good anyways! But do that experiment with one bale less..

Brupje: Thanks!
TagDaze: the fence is attached.
Ive attached a set of different rendes with differnet amounts and layouts of bales, and differnt sizes, and with them stacked and not stacked. I havnt done them layed in lines cause it doesnt really look good tiled.

Thanks for the attachment. I'd still go for 003 Copy 2. I like the size, and how it looks random. Looking at 003 Copy, I can see that there are two straight lines from top to bottom, and when tiling, that could be an eyesore. The others are either too crowded or too small.

I think nr. 4 is the best as well.
here in holland farmers roll round bales of hay, that get packaged in plastic on site.
But might be too modern to use in 1950 though

planes need better rendering, the airport looks great (bit gray but anyway)
also the runway and grass needs better texture imo, maybe add radar and other stuff as well...???

It's a small airport, and the small airport is designed pre 1920. I don't think they had radar then.

Good old wikipedia - wrong as usual.
The British invented a working radar system in 1935 (the principle having been shown earlier by many scientific groups worldwide), and it was used operationally as a key component of the air defense in the Battle of Britain (1940).

The only thing Wikipedia mentions happening in 1941 is the name "Radar" being first used. It tells us about the 1935 development.

then get a radio tower or anything they DID have then:P
just fill up the empty space a bit:)

90% of an airport is empty space.

The airport is great!! Just add a little color (brown painted walls) and all the detailed ground I suppose u are planning to do..
