I will have a look at this tomorrow and see if I can recreate the bug and fix itWildesy wrote:It seems to stop the AI building at all, they just stagnate and only make money from whatever they had previously built.
Do you know how I can fix it Morloth? I'm using the latest trunk and the latest version of NoCab.
Thanks

Hmmmmz... The reason why I dropped shared orders is due to some weird behaviour I would get every now and then. Especially with ships. But will reintroducing shared orders fix your problems? If that's the case I'll have another look and see what can be done.Endymion wrote:But one comment, though, your order settings are a real pain for me. Usually I play with a lot of AI's in the beginning of the game, but after a while I clearly won the battle and become the strongest company out there. At that point I start to takeover the AI's and integrate them into my own network (if possible). But your order settings include a force stop at the depot when the vehicle reaches a certain age. Since you dropped using shared orders, I have to alter all vehicles manually, instead of just a few groups, if I don't want them to end up in the depots all the time. When NoCAB has like 1000 vehicles and I take it over, it's like a mission impossible to alter the orders of all of them.
Is there any way you could update the AI to avoid this needing? (I don't see not taking it over as an option)
On a side note, I do want to rewrite the way I'm handling vehicle management. At the moment it's quite loosely defined, so sorting them into groups and stuff will certainly help you as well I suppose. Tomorrow is the day that I'll look at this as well.
Thanks for the bug reports, keep 'em coming!!!
