I've done the Central Line driving cars... If the rear corner looks as though it's missing, it's because it's white.

Neither am I. That graphic looks very much like a low guage tube train, whereas Central Line trains are squarer and taller (or at least, they were last month when I rode them).

also, you use the blue background, colour code 0,0,255, pal index 0.

No, the Central Line is lower and round, I ride the tube every single bloody day, I know. :)

Not as low as those graphics are making out though.

the savegame on your TTT website is down, any chance of uploading? i'd like to help but i want to see what's been done so far - thanks..

edit: i also read a lot of blogs and sites about the london underground - they'd be very interested in what you're doing with this, but i think i'll wait before sending the link out till there's been some more development..

To be honest, everything is done, I am just waiting for the remaining .grfs so i can put the trains in.

When we release 1.0, then you will be able to help with newer versions.

Hey... the sites down :(

I've just moved out and am settling into my student accomodation, also getting a fair bit of work, and even a social life!

I promise to do the site up though!

I've had a chat with the graphics man, and the Croydon tramlink sprites are nearly ready, that'll just leave DLR and 1992 stuff left to do.

Well, i thought id give you all an insight into the possibility of our next project;

In this screenshot is the Berlin Zoologischer Garten Bahnhof, with both Mainline trains, S-Bahn trains, and U-Bahn trains, it makes for quite an interchange i'd say. This is a mockup of what the actual station could look like in the project.

Thoughts and comments welcome please :)

Very impressed with what is going on here. I'm just wondering if I could join in in any way, shape or form.

JJHW wrote:I've done the Central Line driving cars... If the rear corner looks as though it's missing, it's because it's white.

main problems are:
- the rear nearside top corner of each car in the diagonal view is too rounded
- the middle doors are too wide and the end ones too narrow
- the light/dark shading is very extreme
- the | view is way too long
- you haven't drawn a side on view
- you haven't drawn any carriages
- you haven't actually drawn any side windows apart from the ones in the doors...

don't get me wrong, it does look ok, but it's definately a first draft

We intend to host a REMO meeting on IRC, preferably tomorrow. We hope that all of you can attend, we will discuss LU v1, Glasgow V1 and where we intend to take the project next. Over 40 people downloaded Glasgow..so you must have something to say on it or at least is interested.
