Hows this, added a bit of textrue to the top of the | view?

It's not really the roof that matters. It's the sides and roof of on the \and/ views because those views are the ones that are going to be seen the most since TT roads don't go | or _ so you'll only see those on corners. Not bad, the key is to get subtle tones that are only a shade or two at most different from the original otherwise it is glaringly obvious.

Well im completely new to GFX for TTDPatch, Im also working on the fact that Blackpool trams arent exactly clean.
But i dont think my litte texture isnt too bad
EDIT: webby updated

Don't worry about it, the only way to improve is with practice! I agree with your statement there about the cleanness of Blackpool's trams.
By the way: Is this set going to be done in true colours or CCs because I saw m3henry did one in 2CC which strikes me as rather pointless if the rest are all going to be in reality colours

ok then im the livery man, please supply the ballon without panto/pole.

EDIT:2CCs arent poinless, they are alternatives, like pikkabirds hovs (CC i know) but some might want ttd style trams (it will blend nicely with pikkas work

)

Ok give me a moment, I'll send you it without panto/pole and without texture, if you don't mind I will continue to add texture to the green n cream one as I've already started...

Its balloon.
Hold on, I'm trying to organise, ideally it should all be the same, company colours or whatever (preferably company colours)
I'm trying to not just be the dude who organise nd doe the webite. but im crap at drawing, so i will try though.
EDIT: did one of you try adding me to MSN, if so soz, i accidentally denied it

Well maybe you should have a go at the picture of the Birmingham tram you posted, it's a good starting point because it's fairly boxy but suitable challenging with the rounded ends. A good way to start (I found when I began) is to take an original sprite of about the right dimensions and alter it by layer stuff over the top. Give it a go, the trouble there however is colour....

Ok have added some texture. The TT pallette (YES! I am blaming the pallette) is limited to what I can use for cream so there is orange and pink in there
Let me know what you think and then, (with m3henry's permission of course) I could apply some other liveries which he is not doing.
Edit: also added the metrolink with the blue background. Looks better now.

Well at this point i'd much prefer to edit others to hopefully improve untill i get enough courage to do an entire tram, i dont intend this to be a one release thing, more like a progressive thing.
Secondly, The website is updated almost immediatly after a GFX is posted, so we have an extremely up to date webby.
EDIT: no 2CC for now, lets keep it to the correct colours

I see where you are coming from so are we only going to do the Blackpool trams 2CC or the other modern ones aswell?

Pikka is doing some trams in his HOVS set... I think... So why not make this an original liveries set? It'll fit in with the BR Set then, maybe..
I dunno. I'm not leading this... But I think you should put the trams in their original liveries, even if you offer 2cc too...

What do two seperate .grfs? One for real colours, one for CCs?

Gosh no. You could add a parameter though. I think that's possible.
A parameter to define livery usage? Is that possible clever people?

That is indeed possible.

Eurgh!
I leave a thread for 50minutes to update a webby! and look what happens! (joke)
Let me clear this up.
No 2CC for now, Original colours + possible livery changes (see website for current livery possibilities) THe only ones that currently have other liveries are the Balloon trams from Blackpool. Any Ideas how other Liveries can be implemented?

Either randomly, or through livery refit.
This works such that you can refit a tram to have the same number of passengers but look different.
Though, I don't know whether this is possible with RVs or Trams.

George does it for his long vehicles.
