What a star shaped object shaded properly wouldn't suffice being two/three pixels wide (grey/lighter grey alternating).IMO the zepplin looks strange making helicopter noise and just floating along with propulsion. If i remember the rotors on these airships were pretty sizeable and should be shown at scale such as TTDs even if it makes the thing look a little bit smaller.

Well, you make a good point about the helicopter noise. Can you obtain for us a recording of a real zeppelin in action? The Patch now allows us to include customized sounds. Which is probably something we should do anyway, as they get submitted.

I mean the helicopter noise looks/sounds wierd because there a no rotors to support the noise. You could record the noise off a tv with zepplin footage using mp3 player or pc as such but i doubt it would much different

My variant A380/A380-F(cargo): seven liveries (a choice through cargoes) as has established real characteristics.

I ask to test and I wait for remarks

Thanks DaleStan for the help in coding!

Oh, they look great! Can they be included in the main GRF file next release?

 hell yeah, that's what I was waiting for :!:

If someone does the revised A380 sprites for all 8 directions it is possible. Those look very good although wings need some shading.

As a sidenote: I'm lazy right now and I'll do something for the 1.1 as soon as I catch inspiration which once again might take some time...

I'm probably hilariously outdated with my Planeset GRF file, but is this supposed to be right?

Did you try alpha 65?

by RPharazon
Yes. Yes I did. The problem still persists.

Cannot duplicate, neither in a new nor existing game.
Have you tried Cht:resetvehicles?

Could this be a manifestation of the newshistory bug?
What happens if you turn newshistory off?

by Patchman
Actually, that bug was broken handling of heli rotor overrides, causing random memory to be overwritten. The news history just changed which random memory would be overwritten, but doesn't fix the bug itself...

I assume that the l and s next to the plane's name is the type of airport it can safely land at? For instance, the L next to the 707 means that it can only land at the large aiports safely?

Yep, that's it.

Hi, I've run a search for this but couldn't find anything so don't flame me please...
All the aircraft in my Planeset seem to have a double-speed aging problem. For example, a plane built in 1990 is displayed as being 10 years old in 1995 rather than 5 years old, and so on. They seem to age literally twice as fast as they should do.
Any solutions?

Thanks

I can confirm the bug, but I don't think it's a problem with the planeset.

Expecially since it happens even when I start TTDPatch with no newgrfs.

It doesn't seem to happen with choppers; just planes.
